So, the community is full of Therians, people who support them, people who mistake them for furries, and people who have no idea who they are and what it means to be one. The question, "What's a therian?" Is not correctly phrased, but it's meant to be someone else asking. Anyways, I'm going to explain the meaning of what being a therian is. Basically, if someone says that they're a therian, it means that either they believe or they were a animal in their past life. I think I'll explain theriotypes in a different project, but basically, the animal they were in the past is their theriotype. What's the difference between furries and therians? Furries tend to express themselves through art and tend to moreso show themselves to the community by expressing themselves through a animal costume (fursuit) while therians express themselves through a more spiritual way. Furries may focus more on having fun engaging in creative activities to express themselves, where therians focus on their inner identity and their animal connection. Basically, furries focus on their outer appearence, and therians focus on their inner appearence.
