We all watched this movie, didn't we? And it's so much deeper than hunting demons while singing, yk? First of all, I've figured out a few of the Saja boys and their shame. Jinu: Obviously we know what his shame was, but additionally, at the beginning of the movie, we see his sister and mother being killed by demons. (In case you didn't see, go back and pay attention to the mother and child being attacked, then look at the people Jinu left behind closed doors.) He let them get killed by demons because the first part of the deal was to live a better life, but the deal became a two part deal where his family had to die if he wanted to live a good life. He was pulled by Gwi-ma, so nothing he did was entirely his choice. Rumi is the only one to help him. She gets rid of the shame by making him feel accepted and ok about it. Mystery: His shame is of his face, because he covers it. Zoey is the one who can help him relieve that shame. She is the only one who ever saw his face, which signals that she can help him come to this side of the honmoon. He will be free of his demon patterns. Romance: Romance's shame is that he never had true love. In the beginning, he was pulled by Gwi-ma to make him look like a heart-stealer, but along with that, he never got to feel real love, only admiration that he didn't return. Mira is the first girl he truly fell in love with, which is why she can help him get rid of his demon patterns as well. Abby: I am not entirely sure about him, but my guess is that his shame was the fact that he wasn't admired. When he got abs and admirers, that came with the need to always be admired. Mira doesn't admire him the way others do, and she might be able to bring him to the human world as well. Baby: I'm the most unsure about him, bc let's be honest, we don't get anything about him. But maybe Baby wanted a real family and wanted to be taken care of, which is why staying in the idol group would be useful for him. They are probably his only "real" family. Rumi's parents: Rumi's parents could've been like Rumi and Jinu. They probably helped each other with their problems. If her father hadn't died, the bridge between the humans and demons would be fixed and they could live harmoniously. I am pretty sure Celine killed her father, and somehow Rumi's mom was connected to him, so they both died. Gwi-ma could actually be Rumi's real father, and he was trapped inside the fire. He hated humans because of Celine, and that's why he is the "villan". Obviously I'm not 100% at all, but yk, it's all theories soo we're having fun! Jinu's betrayal: Everything was going great. Jinu was going to be saved. Why did he betray her? We might think it's because Gwi-ma was forcing him, but Jinu knew he could push past Gwi-ma when he was with Rumi. I think (i saw this on capcut as well, so credits to whoever thought of this!) that the Tiger, (Derpy) found the "Takedown" lyrics and showed it to Jinu. Jinu thought Rumi betrayed him, which led to him giving his soul in the end when he realized he was in the wrong. This seems really accurate, because the tiger was snooping around the trash can. I'm sure he didn't have bad intentions, I love Derpy, but that is probably what caused Jinu to betray her. How else would he and the Saja boys be able to play takedown in the idol awards? How would the demons he put out there know the lyrics? It makes so much sense. Jinu's death: We all can tell Jinu is coming back. His soul exists in Rumi's sword, and his tiger and bird were sitting above a sign that said, "Comeback". The bracelet: "Jinu never wore the bracelet Rumi gave him!" Actually, he did wear it, during "Your Idol." I might have more theories later on, so we'll see about that <3 Byee my lovely people that stayed listening to me yap on for five hours!! Here's a cookie <3
