Join the SCC Staff Team! Welcome to the Scratch Community Con (SCC) Staff Applications! SCC (Scratch Community Con) is a community-organized yearly event designed to celebrate creativity, collaboration, and connection across Scratch. SCC255 will be our very first convention, and we’re building a team to help make it possible. What is SCC Staff? SCC Staff are the volunteers who keep SCC running smoothly. They organize events, support participants, judge competitions, and help moderate spaces where the community gathers. Staff members are an important part of making SCC fun, fair, and welcoming for everyone. Staff Roles Available: Studio Moderators → Help manage official SCC Scratch studios by organizing projects, keeping discussions on-topic, and ensuring Scratch guidelines are followed. SCC Support → Assist Scratchers who have questions, give event updates, and provide general help throughout SCC. Judges → Review submissions for the SCCTheme Jam and other competitions, and work with committees to fairly choose winners. SCC Moderators → Oversee community-wide activities and help resolve issues to ensure SCC runs smoothly and respectfully. Who Can Apply? Scratchers 13 years or older Active, responsible, and respectful community members Willing to work with others and dedicate time to SCC events By applying, you’ll have the chance to directly contribute to SCC255 and shape this new tradition for the Scratch community!
