in 1971, a dam was built in the hills of Georgia near a town named Aintry. the town and anything surrounding it was flooding in 1972 when the water rose behind the dam. In 2004 a man found this pistol while magnet fishing near the Aintry area where the Cahulawassee River used to be. Presumed to be a mountain man's pistol.
