CONTROLS: Movement: WASD/Arrow Keys Fire Weapon: Space Bar Use Powerup: E, B, or F Gameplay: -Each stage includes 4 levels and a Boss for that stage -Levels include Laser Enemies (Red), Magic Enemies (Purple), and Explosive Enemies (Orange), Healing stations, Upgrade Stations, and Shops -Defeating enemies and bosses gives credits and scraps, both of which can be used for upgrading. Depending on your time and HP loss, you will receive more or less Credits/Scraps. There is also a chance to receive a choice between two upgrades. -Healing Stations allow you to heal yourself for 40% of your Max HP for free, 70% for 200 credits, and 100% for 300 credits -Shops allow you to purchase new upgrades in exchange for credits. You may reroll the shop, but it takes more credits every reroll. -Upgrade stations allow you to upgrade all obtained upgrades in exchange for scraps. The cap for upgrade levels is 5. -Certain upgrades allow you to shoot different kinds of projectiles at a random chance. PROJECTILES HAVE NO EFFECT ON BOSSES OF THE SAME DAMAGE TYPE (Laser, Explosive, Magic)
Hundreds of hours, over 14,000 blocks of code, 30 unique upgrades, and 40 bosses all culminate into this one, final game, Sector Zero: Rogue, a roguelike/boss rush/shootemup all into one.
