Welcome to OC FEST, a special new event by the one and only Percy Swing! It's kind of like if the team names for Art Fight actually meant anything! During OC FEST, you submit original characters you have that fit the event's stated theme, and then I spin a wheel and assign you all to draw each others' characters! If you don't have any characters that fit, don't worry! I plan to host multiple of these with different themes in the future, so stick around for your chance to participate :D OC FEST works in 3 phases, which are THEME VOTING, THEME REVEAL + REF PREP, and THE MAIN EVENT. Phase 3: Time for THE MAIN EVENT, everyone! The wheel has been spun, and all assignments are below in the Notes and Credits! They're in alphabetical order by name you signed up with. Find your partner's character refs in the forms in the comments! Assignments were largely random, but I also tried to keep in mind a few preferences that I'm aware of. I didn't want to match an exclusively human artist with an animal character, for instance. Assignments aren't secret! The event is to celebrate you guys' OCs, so feel free to talk to whoever you're drawing for and ask about the character's lore and whatnot! Have fun! The final deadline to draw for your partner is November 1st. If you finish your first drawing earlier, you can then draw for a second person (of your choice) if you want! PRIOR DESCRIPTION (Ignore all this! I'm just keeping it as reference for future events) For SPACE OC FEST, submit characters you have that are aliens, space explorers, based on planets or stars, or are in any way related to space! To be honest I was not expecting Circus to be the underdog. I didn't know that many people even liked public domain stuff! It's now time for Ref Prep and Sign-Ups! If you don't currently have a reference image for your space-related OC, please make one. Once you do have a reference, sign up with this form! Mine is that Jupiter's 4 major moons are called the "Galilean Moons" but there are like 90 something other ones no one cares about Ref Prep & Sign-Ups end on September 6th. Sign-Ups will be accepted until either that date or if we reach 50 participants. The main event then begins on the 7th!
