Today, I hung out with Harry and his group, not my trio. They were pretty nice, much better than the trio I was in. Their names were John, Ethan, and Keith. I didn’t really care if I was the only girl, I found real friends, and that’s what matters. Poppy, of course, got jealous. I got hate texts from her all night, and she was spamming them, too. I blocked everyone’s number except for Diana’s, because, I feel like our friendship could work out, once I know the truth. She’s not like Poppy and Clara, I have a feeling that she actually cares, and she smiles at me sometimes, it cheers me up and shows that she’s a good person, but just too scared to show her true self. I told the boys I had to go, but instead of looking at all of them, I only looked at Harry. He smiled, I think, I may have been dreaming. But, he could have smiled. The teacher announced that we were going on a field trip this afternoon, I was pretty excited, because, who wouldn’t? Well, that changed, when I knew where we were going. We’re going to a mountain. Me, climbing a mountain? No, that’s not going to work out. When I saw Harry, I walked up to him and said, “‘Sup?”. I was trying to learn ‘boy language’, or whatever they call it. He started giggling, and said, “You don’t have to change yourself, I like you just the way you are.”. We started staring at each other, for a pretty long while, until he snapped out of it and said, “Oh, um, what did you want?”. I told him about how scared I was for the field trip, and he said, “I know you’ll be able to climb that mountain, I believe in you. As long as you put your mind to it, you can do anything. History is yours to make.”. He gave me a gentle hug, and then said, “You’re amazing, go show the world that.”, and he smiled. Now, I was brave enough to go to the field trip. I thanked him, and then it was time to go. We went to the bus, and the max for each seat was 3, meaning the whole group couldn’t sit. I said, “It’s fine, you guys can sit together, I can find somewhere else to sit.”. Harry said, “Oh, I, um, actually wanted you and I to sit alone.”. I started blushing a little, and said, “Oh, okay.”. Nothing happened, though. We stared at each other a few times, but were silent the whole ride. We arrived. I was still pretty scared, but Harry told me, “You can squeeze my hand if it helps.”. I wanted to be brave, so I politely refused the offer. I wore a lot of things to protect myself. I was hot, but it was more about safety. One by one, I found myself a natural at climbing. I had fun, too. I was the last one to reach the top, but that doesn’t matter. Poppy and Clara started making fun of me. I don’t care about their reactions anymore. When I reached the top, I went to the edge of the mountain, so I could see the view. Poppy came over to me, looked around to make sure no one was looking, and pushed me when I was on the very edge. And, I fell.
