Chapter ?? - The Thingy Club [CUTSCENE] {Event} (commentary) A secret building can be entered, near the outskirts of Grifftopia. Outside it is nothing but a shabby outhouse, its stench smells of rats.. The door unlocks after you get the “secret” key, which, is hidden behind a tree right next to it.. Down a stupidly long stairwell lays a table, a few chairs, and to the player’s surprise: civilization! They don’t notice the player, until suddenly, a set of words emerged from the chattering: “sup gng” “Wh.. what is this place??” says the player. “mb bro imma turn on the lights” The lights - or, well, light, turned on. The person tried to turn on the other lights, until they were interrupted by somebody else. “Buy my Iizunamaru brand light for 9999$!!” Wait.. Iizunamaru? The player has indeed, met them before! “Welcome to the Thingy” The player can walk around the room. They can interact with those sitting at the table. There were many other rooms to explore in this.. location.. One room has the particular smell of soup? What’s even weirder is that it smelt almost familiar to the player. They enter the room, and they see the same black cat from the diner, cooking up his famous “Soup Gng” “Another Grifftopian?” the player curiously asked. “sup gng” The chef asked a friend of his to grab him some seasoning from the fridge. The person he asked - a red and white ball, resembles a specific merchant in Grifftopia - another Grifftopian! Another room, had two - or three people. A person, holding a dummy presumably from the Dojo, however decorated with flashy hair and clothing, posing in-front of an artist, who was making a picture-perfect portrait of them. “Miku, do you love me?” The person said to the dummy. Unsurprisingly, the dummy says nothing. Back at the table, things were getting intense for everyone. But, they seemed to be enjoying it. It was just an average day to them. Two people fought over the flashy decorated dummy, one is seen selling ludicrously priced branded dirt to people and another expressed their distaste to gingerbread cookies. After they ate their dinners, they messily make their way over to the lounge. The lounge had a single TV, a piano, tables, couches, and for some weird reason, one of those inflatable mini kid pools.. There, they all sat around and did their own things. Whether it was angrily slamming the keys on the old piano, or playing silly little racing games on the television, this was their go-to place to be. It was chaotic, but it was their home. Their thing.
