Onboard, the crew are ready to support the player and make sure their ride goes as smoothly as possible. But, this is the Brave Barnacle we’re talking about! The ol’ tug boat that floats by prayers and dreams.. “Well, we outta introduce ourselves, ye?” says the so-called captain. “Startin’ with you, Bomk!” “Hello, I am Bomkdarnok the Orca! I’m the first mate on this ship, but I honestly do more work than the captain.” “Since when?” says the captain. “Well, to start, i’m the one who catches our fish, the one who repairs our floating rust bucket and I cook all the meals on this place. Honestly we should just call the boat “Boatdarnok”” “WRONG!” The captain says, despite everything being truthful. The captain spends days simply just laying down on the stern, drinking the watermelon shakes provided by Bomk, and snoring so loud it rocks the whole ship. All of a sudden, a cawing voice can be heard.. “I stole the ship! I stole the ship!” A parrot said, mimicking the captain. “Oh my Poseidon can you SHUT THE HE-“ “That’s the captain’s parrot, Lil’ Puddle..” said Bomk. The captain’s cursing could be heard throughout the dialogue. “Ah. Where were me?” “Yes! My name is The Great Captain Puddlepatch, or just puddle for short.. I.. uhh..” The captain struggles to find something interesting about himself.. “BOMK!! COME UP WITH SOMETHING INTERESTING ABOUT ME!!” “No.” “Fine. Well, take a tour of MY ship. Interact with the bed inside if you wish to skip the whole ride. But why would ye wanna do that? Heh!” (The player is now free to walk around the deck.) Bomkdarnok is seen alongside the stern, with a hammer-like object in his hand. “This? It’s the Bomker. It also doubles as a fishing rod.” {The player can interact with Bomkdarnok, and enter a fishing minigame! At the end of the game lays an aquatic enemy, a Spamtis (spam + mantis (shrimp))l The player, alongside their party members and Bomk, enter a battle.} “This big shiny one’s feeding us real good!” Bomkdarnok seems like a valiant fighter. His Bomker can be charged for several turns to produce a more powerful smash! “Thanks for helping me catch that big ol’ fish! Here’s a reward!” Bomk rewards you with some fish, Griffcoins and has a small chance to give you his Bomker. You could enter the ship, and upon entering, are greeted with Puddlepatch, as well as an unbearable smell of old pizza. “Here for snack?” {The player can interact with Puddlepatch to start a cutscene with everyone on the ship, at the table.} “Here’s some fish I caught” “You mean MY fish?” “I LOVE STEALING! I LOVE STEALING!” The parrot says in the captain’s pirate accent, repeatedly. “Guys. Y’know. I wish we had more crew on this ship. Why can’t I just be like em? Why can’t I be rich n’ grand n’ all?? BOMK!! HELP ME OUT!!” “With what? I’m the ship repairman, not your relationship repairman.” Suddenly, awkward silence. A few seconds later, the sounds of aggressive munching can be heard.. “Apologies, the Brave Barnacle ain’t the got most stable crew.. Care for a watermelon shake?” {Bomk gives the player a watermelon shake.} Afterwards, the lost captain can be found laying down, basking in the warmth of the afternoon sun..
