Hi everyone. I have made a decision. I am taking a break from Scratch to mainly refocus on my priorities, school, and life. I will still be semi-active in the American Politics Discussion Studio to see updates on world events. I have had some negative experiences with homophobes, and while that is not the only reason I’m leaving, it is still part of the reason. Also, Scratch is not the place it used to be. I used to come here for some support for being queer and autistic, and to interact with others who shared aspects of my identity. But it has become more difficult to find those places and steer clear from trolls and bullies. My upcoming school year will bring stress and anxiety, and as an autistic, another thing to keep up on will make me very burnt out. I don’t know when I’ll be returning, it could be very long from now or maybe never. But thank you, Scratch, for the safe space you’ve given me, for the support I’ve found. Thank you to all my followers and the people that lift me up when it’s hard. I wish all of you well, and again, thank you for giving me this community for almost 2 years now, and I hope to come here again.
