Instructions

Talking with Snape- Uh Oh What Did I Do ---------------------------------------------------- I walk in to potions class and get to my station right before the bell rings cuz i was in the library studying for the potion we'll be making in class today. Once I'm settled in I notice Snape giving me a weird look and I think 'Ok he doesn't like how close i cut i get it but he'll understand since i was studying right?' Proffesor Snape goes to the front of the class room "Ok now that we're all here," He shoots me a look "I'll tell you all what you will being doing today." Snape goes on about potion saftey and writes the ingredients and instructions for 'The Fire Protection Potion' on the bored. I look at the bored and read the ingredients 'Ok so i need bursting mushrooms, salamander blood, and wartcap powder got it.' I go gather the ingredients and go back to my staion then i read what i need to do 'Ok so now i need to slice the bursting mushrooms and stir clockwise till its blue,' I do that easily 'Now i have to add the salamander blood and stir counter clockwise till its green,' I carefully do that 'And now i need to crush the wartcap powder in the pestle and add to the potion and stir it clockwise till it's red." I crush the wartcap power with only a tiny bit of trouble because my hand didn't want to cooperate. Once i finish the potion and its perfect I smile and raise my hand. Snape sighs "Yes miss Potter." i look at him "I finished the potion sir." Snape walks over "Oh you did, now did you," He looks at it "Oh well I suppose it is correct well I guess you can do I don't know something and talk to after class." He goes back to his desk. I pull out my sketch book and pencil 'He wants to talk after class but I didn't do anything wrong, right?' After class i go up to his desk "You wanted to talk sir." I looks at me "Yes i suspect you cheated to do the potion." I'm surprised "But sir why?" He sits up straight in his chair "You did everything with no hesitation and you were the first one done." I'm fiddling with the sleeve of my robe "Yeah but that's just cuz I really like potions and I studied a lot for this it's why i was almost late I was in the library studying and lost track of time." He thinks for second "Well even if you did study a lot your a Hufflepuff and Hufflepuffs sure can be ok at potions but are usually better at Herbology then anything." I look up at him "Ok and Jackie's really good at potions too." His face scrunches up a bit "Yes and she's as much as an insufferable know it all as her sister Hermione." I don't like how he's talking about Jackie "Ok for one Jackie is not insufferable or a know it all she's just really smart and I promise you sir I didn't cheat." He sighs "Whatever you say about her and well I don't have any proof so fine I'll believe you." I nod and walk out of the class room.
