Hey hey if you don't know me I'm Jay (you can also call me Orbit since my user is @OrbitAnimates bahahah), pronouns are she/her, and I love to draw, read, write, and talk. I love to talk. Especially about my fandoms but basically anything. :) Fandoms include Marvel, Doctor Who, the Lorax, and way more random things that I randomly got interested in- I love to animate and watch movies, and I hope to go into the film/acting industry someday. My timezone is mountain time, so basically right in the middle of the West Coast and East Coast ones heh A weakness I may have as manager is that I will go inactive for the day if I'm stressed about anything (homework, drama, etc.). This doesn't happen super often, but sometimes I feel overwhelmed and just like I don't have too much time to be constantly refreshing the DBD page. Other than that, I think the times I'm online line up pretty well with the times when everyone's active. Skills and experience huh.... Where do I even begin??? I joined Scratch five and a half years ago cause I'm OLD- I'm usually pretty to very active depending on the day and I usually respond to messages very quickly, even if it's not on dbd or a studio. I did also manage evacuation^2 and manage it for it's short-lived resurgence in popularity. As for real life experience things, I was on the head student leadership committee at my old school, as well as on a small leadership/community organization board (not going to go into the specifics of what it does because it's fairly unique and I really don't want to get doxxed), but I certainly have tons of valuable experience working with a leadership team within communities. As for posotives I'd bring, well, for one thing, I'm super active, so I'd generally be able to stamp out any drama before it escalates, or close comments fairly quickly if spammers come online. Additionally, I do have some fun things and events in mind for DBD for if I do become a manager... Heheh...... Things that make me different from other candidates, hmm..... Well, for one thing, I'm in high school, so I do have less limitations with things like not being able to get on for an entire school day, etc. I would also say that I'm friends/friendly with a lot of the active managers, so they know what I'm like and we would be well suited to working together :) I've been a DBDer about a month, perhaps a bit longer, but basically since when it'd first started catching on. I'd have to rate my activity around a 8.5-9 if I'm being completely honest.. Even if I'm not actively chatting on the studio I do like to comment stalk :') especially when it's more inactive When faced with stressful situations, I try to talk to somebody about it or think about it for a bit to work my way through what I should do. If it's online, I might message someone asking what I should do/if what I'm going to do is a good idea, or I take a break to think about it, then come back once I have a plan. I want to do more events within the DBD community to raise activity levels overall and introduce new people to the studio! I have some plans for this already that I'd run by the managers if I do get promoted, but I do think DBD would be a lot more active just if more people knew about it My leadership experience was mentioned in one of my previous paragraphs, but I do have a LOT :) I've co-directed many films in addition to the aformentioned leadership roles, which has taught me to listen to others' ideas and decide what to do based on everyone's input, as well as to be creative, because it makes it a whole lot more fun for everybody. I may be less active during weekdays, but I do check in!! This week I've been especially busy with homework and things outside of school, but I should be able to check in more than this. I'd love to be a manager, if you'd have me. :)
