Pondkit - AMAB - Youngest Yet another calico though this time dilute. Pondkit is mostly grey and unlike his siblings, his pelt is marked with thick stripes. Pondkit has small round ears and a fluffy pelt that would hide any small scratches and cuts, making his paralysis more dangerous. Pondkit will grow to be 8 inches. - why do I want the kit ༄.° I’ve been thinking about having a kit on this roleplay for a while, and Pondkit looks so sweet that I’d love to give him an excellent life, and therefore be active with him! He also might end up being a comfort character seeing as he’s so fluffy and adorable! I hadn’t joined Under the Mycelium yet because I wasn’t sure if i’d be active as a character in another roleplay was at the time a kit, but now I feel that I’ll be able to achieve a good amount of activity with another character in a roleplay :D future gender and sexuality ༄.° Pondkit will always identify as male, and go by the pronouns he/him during his lifetime. He’ll be gay, but he won’t realise until he is either apprentice age or older. However he’ll mainly be seeking friendly relationships over romantic ones most of the time with other characters. personality (overview) ༄.° positive : cheerful, enthusiastic, optimistic, kind-hearted, loyal, honourable | neutral : talkative, curious, dramatic, theatrical, mischievous | negative : naive, gullible, overzealous, overly trusting, occasionally impulsive | personality (detailed) ༄.° [+] cheerful : He brings a lively and upbeat energy to every situation. This unwavering optimism often serves as a powerful source of motivation, perhaps not only for himself but others around him. However, this same mindset can sometimes become an issue for him, as his focus on victory may blind him to potential dangers, risks, or the need for caution in certain moments. Unlike his usual cheerful, casual chatter, his talkativeness occasionally can come across as just lengthy declarations about justice rather than straightforward conversation when he’s in the mood for talking about his ideals. [=] curious : He naturally wants to know what’s going on. His curiosity sometimes drives him to dig deeper into some situations, though he may miss subtle details due to lack of focus or trickery by others, as he isn’t always the best at reading people. Carefuly stopping at the water’s edge, he thrust his chest forward and stared into the pond eagerly, his eyes shining. “Justice shines brightest on a clear surface!” he exclaimed happily, his tiny voice ringing out like. He’d always been obsessed with justice since a young age. His reflection stared back at him from the still water: a small kit with paralysed hind legs. But in Pondkit’s mind? That reflection was a mighty warrior with an air of righteousness about him, a noble cat to be remembered!
The breeze rustled the reeds nearby, carrying his words across camp. “No villain shall escape the paw of justice!” Pondkit declared. The dramatic moment was cut short, however, when he took a swipe at a piece of pondweed and nearly tumbled headfirst into the water. His paws scrabbled against the mud desperately. Swimming wasn't something he could do. At all. Recovering with all the grace he could muster, Pondkit pulled himself upright and puffed out his chest even further, though his whiskers dripped with betrayal from the pond, a thing of which he was named after. “Ahem,” he muttered, a look of embarrassment on his face. “Even the greatest defenders of justice face… unexpected trials!” With that, he returned to gazing at the water, his expression alight with daydreams of glory. In those shimmering ripples, Pondkit didn’t see a clumsy kit. Instead, he saw the Clan’s shining champion, fearless and bold. The one who would defend the innocent, uphold the code, and never let evil cloud his thoughts. If he was lucky. have you had a cat before ༄.° not in this roleplay, no, but I have in many other warrior cats roleplays disability/ disorder ༄.° paralysis (paraplegia) research ༄.° The inability of an animal to move or feel one or more legs is referred to as leg paralysis. When a function is completely impaired it is referred to as paralysis. The inability to move all four legs is tetraplegia, whereas paraplegia occurs when the animal cannot move two legs. Leg paralysis can be the result of several things that are not common in cats including trauma from a fall, accident or abuse, viruses, or tick bites. Because of him having paraplegia, he will be slower than his siblings due to having to drag his back legs instead of using them. He’ll rely heavily on forelimbs for movement, and may avoid rough terrain. Hunting and fighting will be difficult, as he won’t be able to use his legs to balance when attacked, or to pounce at prey. Over time, he’ll be able to learn how to cope with his paralysis. If it’s treated correctly, he’ll have a fairly normal life. As a kit, his goal will be to become deputy or a guard despite the difficulties that would come with it.
