This is "The Last Hope". There will be multiple main protagonists but I might cut to a character named Hope the most since the story centers around her and her̷͖̎́͗̽ ̴̺̙͗͝p̸̛̣̥̖̙͗͒̿a̷̧̔͋͋͐̅s̷̗͌̚ṭ̷͚͒ͅ ̴͕̖͔̍̈́̓ḷ̷̌̓̋͜i̵͕͊-̷̝̫̹̼͌̍̇̋͜ ... I shouldn't spoil too much actually. But the other characters will be Garnet: a male Aeryne, Beta: a female Hydrine, Nebula: a female Raijline, and Scout: a male Raijline. ↳ Who is the guy in the thumbnail/prologue? Lmao, I'm not gonna tell u. You're gonna have to figure it out (WAY) later in the comic. Although one thing I will say now for future lore finders is that this is the young version of said later character. Just a tiny scholar writing a scroll about the gods. ↳ What does the title mean by "Scratch version"? I plan on one day making this into an actual published story perhaps, or at least remaking it when my art gets better but not in Scratch. Think of the Scratch version as a first draft or the basic idea on what I want the story and characters to be like. ↳ When will the first chapter release? I unfortunately don't have a set schedule so I'm not sure. I have high school I need to complete and along side that I have a job which on days I'm scheduled requires me to close the department up after school on closing shifts and I have my weekends also have been taken by the job occasionally too. Adding to that I need to practice my art and work on my portfolio for any art school. On top of those I also need the motivation and I'm a mess of uncompleted projects and inconsistent art quality. Summary: If lucky maybe I'll post 1+ times a month depending on how I feel. ↳ What do you draw on/with? I use a Wacom Cintiq 16 and normally I use Clip studio paint but for this chapter I used Kleki due to me not currently having access to my computer. ===== Additional notes ↳ I also have AU ideas for this story already and I might make a second comic in the future for it. I made it pretty deep despite it being both an AU and an AU about a not even released story. I might release it around the time I show who is 'Team 0'. PS: Its called "Glaciating Fate" ↳ If it feels like I may never post a new chapter be aware I am ALWAYS THINKING OF THIS STORY! This has been in my brain for the last 3 years I kid you not. I won't give up on the story EVER!!! ↳ This is the only chapter I am hand writing the words and lore wise its only because its a written scroll... and I also don't wanna use kleki dumb ah text box feature (jk kleki is good as an online art software) ↳ I pulled the 4 gods in the introduction (there will be more gods later) from various mythology and god systems. They won't be accurate to their origins except similar looks, names, and powers. This also counts towards later god characters unless they are ones I made. Also they have names, they aren't just called "dragon" and "unicorn" but I'm too lazy to make them now so I'll share them in an official ref project or something. ↳ I'll open character submissions for bg laterrrrr bc I don't want to make a soulless town even though it might [stop all block] me fr fr (I'll make a species guild for the cats and templates and stuffffff)
