In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. He made everything, including the first two humans, Adam and Eve, and placed them in a beautiful garden. They walked with God and had a perfect relationship with Him. God gave them one command: do not eat from one tree in the garden. But the devil, God’s enemy, tempted them and said, “Did God really say that?” Adam and Eve disobeyed and ate the fruit. Because of sin, they were separated from God and sent out of the garden. Their perfect relationship with Him was broken. As time went on, God gave His law to His chosen people. Anyone who broke the law sinned, and sin deserved death. Sacrifices of animals were required to temporarily cover sin, but the law was hard, and no one could perfectly obey it. Sin still separated people from God. Then Jesus came. God’s Son entered the world as a baby. He lived a perfect, sinless life and willingly died on a cross. He became the final and perfect sacrifice for sin. Three days later, He rose from the dead, proving He had conquered sin and death. Now, anyone who believes in Jesus can be forgiven, restored, and have a real relationship with God — not by works, not by rules, but by grace. This is the only way to Heaven.
