Hai humans! Welcome to another DTAE! :D BIO! Name - Hazlenut Gender - Male, he/him. Personality - Shy and - when he does talk - sweet. BACKSTORYYYYYYYY (TRIGGER WARNING - Gore) (Info - * = Italisized, [ / ] = thinking) Young Hazlenut looked into the mirror with wide eyes. His right eye had a bandage on it, and it was colored tan to match his antlers. Hazlenut didn't care about the color. He cared about the fact that he had surgery because his right eye vision had always never worked. Hazlenut didn't know why he wore it, and his parents kept it a secret. Hazlenut had to go to school with a bandage on, and embarrassment only added to his shyness. If only Hazlenut could cover it with his fur- Wait. Hazlenut immediately let her head fur grow, and he slicked it to the side to cover his right eye. He looked at his reflection. He felt joyous, but something stirred inside him. A feeling of hiding away something important. A secret. ~~~~ (A few months later) Star and Hazlenut had been friends for as long as Star could count. Despite their differing appearances of Star having a black and white dotted fur with amber eyes, and Hazlenunt's warm brown fur with antlers on his head, they were good friends. Star bounced up and down. "Are we going to hunt?" She asked over and over again. Hazlenut chuckled, his gaze flickering with amusement as Star pranced around him like a newborn kitten whom can't control their excitement. "You're going to crash in a few minutes," he deadpanned, but he was grinning. Star laughed, and Hazlenut only grinned wider as they trotted through the forest. Hazlenut heard a small crack at his feet. He looked down and saw a branch, forgetting about his facial hair which lowered itself, obeying gravity but betraying Hazlenut. Star, since she was on Hazlenut's right let out a soft gasp. Hazlenut turned to her, confusing evident. "Are you okay?" He asked. "I- Your eye-" Star stammered. Hazlenut's ears turned a darker shade of brown with embarrassment. "It's super cool!" Star said. [Wait, what?!] [Star likes it?] "Y-you like it?" Hazlenut asked, voice soft. "Yeah! What.. happened?" Star asked. Hazlenut glanced away. Anywhere from her gaze. "You don't know." Star said gently. "That's okay, you know? It might seem like a flaw to you, but to others, it will spike interest." Star said kindly, a soft smile appearing on her face. Hazlenut smiled, finally looking at her. "..Thanks. That means a lot." The end. :) Enjoy and be kind~
