I almost whacked that little brat with that bat, but they somehow dodged. They looked at me with a hopelessly scared expression. "Don't go," I demand. "What do you want from me...?" They ask me. "Who...are you?" I sigh. "I'm Rose James. Student council president. And you?" I put my bat down, which was adorned with rusty nails embedded in them. "I'm Juniper Weaver..." They tell me. "Juniper, huh?" I mumble. I wipe off the dust of my school uniform. Fairwell middle is a very conservative school, so we have to wear school uniforms because we can't wear "obnoxious" outfits. I glared at Juniper through my bangs after seeing their outfit, which had a skirt instead of the pants they were supposed to wear. Juniper looked incredibly helpless as I kept staring them down. I tuck my thick auburn hair behind my ears and go closer to Juniper. "Are you a boy or a girl?" I corner them. "Um...." Juniper looks hesitant, as if they didn't trust me. "Well, I guess lunch is over, have a great day! ♡" I change my personality faster than you can say "gender identity." As I go downstairs, I think to myself, "Juniper is so freaking weird..." I then went to my locker and put my bat back in my bag before encountering a small 6th grader who was looking at me innocently.
