(note: thumbnail left side characters are flipped; refer to references for accurate depictions) Hello, welcome to my DTA! DUE DATE: February 12th 2026 - EXTENDED TO MARCH 1ST What is a DTA? A DTA is essentially a competition where you draw a character, and the best drawing for each character wins the character! Rules: - You can enter for as many characters as you like, but you can win a max of 2 - No hating on anyone else’s work or abilities, including your own! (This includes ‘I would enter but I can’t draw’) Also, no guilt tripping please. - All art, stories, name changes etc MUST be made by you: not anyone else, no AI. I cannot stress this enough, this includes tracing other’s work, and any generative AI like ChatGPT or any AI image creation. - Code word is inside the project - You can tweak the design a little if you’d like, but please make it recognisable (species changes are also okay as long as they fit the criteria) - You may not use the character after the competition if you don’t win it. - Make your entries scratch-friendly, I shouldn’t really have to say that but just in case. - Code word is actually not inside the project, it’s the first letter of your username somewhere in the word of your favourite colour. - Art can be traditional, digital, sculpted, whatever! - Entries must be a remix of this project and potentially added to the relevant studios if the contest gets that popular. - Extensions are available for up to a week after the due date. - Please include the code word in the description/notes of your project! - FYI you don’t have to ask to enter, just go ahead! - HAVE FUN! Please, this is a bit cliché but having fun is very important, it shouldn’t be stressful! Ways to increase your chances of winning: - Do some writing/backstory - Animation - Multiple pieces of art (but quality > quantity!) - EFFORT!
