changeling forces would begin to retreat as changeling civilian populations has begun to put pressure on king thorax by comparing his invasion to the failed invasion chrysalis launched on the former kingdom a long time ago; which has caused the changeling king to consider surrendering. meanwhile crystal forces are trying to counter the blitzkrieg while pushing deeper into enemy territory; the crystal ruler, princess cadance, is confident that the war will end in their favor, while still not being very enthusiastic on thorax considering having the changelings surrender, she altho understands that the war has taken a toll on the changeling population, however cadance would declare that even if the changeling kingdom surrenders, the crystal empire will fight until the end, no matter what it costs.
