If I invited you, you do not have to link your design skills. OPEN COTA signups! I want to make a really large song-based OTA, but I don't have the time nor energy to do something that big. So, who wants to collab? A COTA essentially means that other people make designs based on the theme or prompt I give them. Then I pull all of those designs together and host an OTA. The only difference is that payments offered for a specific character goes to the artist who designed it! From they way I'm setting this up, it means you'll have a bit more freedom in picking your theme. You'll pick one of the listed artists and choose some songs from that artist to make designs of. I don't care what they are, so long as the lyrics aren't extremely inappropriate (a little cursing is fine. This is only a rule because I want the respective songs playing while the designs are on the screen, and don't want scratch getting mad at me for using inappropriate songs), and that the song isn't clearly about another character. For example, if you're doing CG5 I don't want you to pick Vibrant Eyes or On My Way to make the design from. You'll be focusing on the characters in the music video and not the song itself. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- **- I want multiple design for each song artist because if there were only one for each then the OTA wouldn't be that big. If you only submit one I'll give the slot to someone who will actually complete at least two designs. If you are posting one design while still working on the other, that's fine. Sorry the rules are so long... Rules: -Songs chosen can't be inappropriate. A little cursing is fine. -Songs chosen can't be clearly about another character (exceptions made for Ghost and Pals since all of their songs are based off of their characters). -I'll be hesitant to accept songs about other fandoms in general. -I want at least two designs for the artist. Don't enter if you can't do two.** -If by the off chance you have a song-based character by one of the song artists listed you cannot submit it. Only designs created for this COTA are accepted. If you break this rule, you will lose your slot and the chance to get in any others. This is your only warning, so don't screw up -If you submit any design that's designed by someone else, the payments for that design will go straight to the person who originally designed it, regardless of your ownership over it. Please. -Only enter a form if you know you can get it done. -If you and another scratcher both want to collaborate to make designs for the same artist together, that's great. But just know that it's up to you both to manage who makes what design for whatever songs you choose. Know that it's up to you both to submit your design in the same project, not separate ones. When submitting a form, all I need is one person to submit the form and the other to reply to that form to confirm that they're also entering. (Unrelated, but the codeword is your favorite drink. I'm putting it here to make sure you're actually reading the rules.) -I'll likely accept people who will design more than two designs, but two designs is minimum. -If you want to make designs for multiple artists, you have to first complete your designs for your first artist before you can enter a second form. -To submit designs, just remix this project with your designs. -I'll be more likely to accept your form if you are willing to make designs based on the specific songs I want to see made. It's not required to make a design based off of the preferred songs, though. -If entering a form for a single, you only need to do one single. -I don't care if you're good at art. I'm looking for being able to design a character.
