Here are some random questions for artists! Remix with your response! :) 1. Do you prefer drawing digitally or traditional? Traditionally!! I may have a lot of art here digitally, but I have way more in my sketchbook. 2. How long have you been drawing for? Years and years, I've been drawing since grade school. 3. Did you take classes or are you self taught? If you took classes, how many? I am completely self-taught. I have taken art classes in school, but I have developed my own art style myself :) 4. What's your favorite drawing app to use (if you use one)? I use Scratch Vector, believe it or not. I don't have any other drawing apps, so I guess that counts. 5. What’s your favorite thing to draw? People, specifically my favorite characters. I also like drawing outfits and floor plans. So diverse, I know. 6. What’s your least favorite thing to draw? Hands and feet. I hate drawing hands and feet, I can never get them to match. 7. How often do you use references? Almost all the time, I have a bad memory, so when I draw, I need to see something similar so that it looks right in the end. 8. Do you ever think you will draw professionally? No, this will probably just stay a hobby of mine. I do want to go into Software Development and Meteorology, though. 9. On average, how many times a day do you spend drawing? Now that I'm older and working on graduating from high school, I don't draw as much, but I try to draw at least 3 times a week. 10. On average, how long does a normal art piece take you to complete? Depends on the detail level, but like 3 hours. 11. Are you confident about your art? Yep! Its my art, and if someone doesn't like it, then that is their problem, it makes me happy. 12. How many artists on Scratch are you following? Great question, let me check...around 10. 13. Are there any artist's skills on Scratch in particular you look up to or admire? Rosyda was a big inspiration for me to get into vector art. 14. Is it okay for people to ask you about your drawing (and or) thought process? Yeah, I encourage it! I don't think that art techniques are something to gatekeep, if you want or need help, I will help the best I can! 15. Do you like drawing for others or is drawing more of a personal thing for you? Its more of a personal thing for me, I like sharing my art with everyone, but when I make art, it is to make me happy. 16. Have you ever collaborated with other artists? No, but that would be fun to do one day. 17. Did you draw more in the past, or do you draw more now? Why? It's about even, I have these bursts of motivation where I draw a lot, but then when the motivation is gone, it's hard to draw. 18. Do you think you are at the level where you can give others advice on drawing or art in general? Yeah, and even if I didn't feel I was, I want eveyone to feel good about themselves and what they create, so I would regardless. 19. What are you trying to improve on as of now? Consistency, for the most part. I need to remember that it doesn't need to be perfect for it to be enjoyed. 20. What art piece has been the most difficult for you to draw so far? I had this project in school where I had to do a grid transfer of my face, and I found that hard. I have an image of what I look like in my head, but it was hard to get what was on my paper to match that image, while still being real. 21. What art piece has been the most easiest for you to draw so far? If I can draw my favoirte characters, those are the easiest for me. The drawing I did of Muichiro has been my favorite. 22. Do you like stepping out of your comfort zone and trying new art styles or approaches? I do occasionally, but I would rather I stick to what I know. 23. Do you draw more original or fan-art? I think the art I do is concidered fan art, and I'm okay with that. 24. (Be honest.). Do you feel more jealous or inspired when you see other people's art? Inspired, mostly. I see what they can do and what they have accomplished, and it can motivate me to push myself to create more. 25. Do you like to drawing in silence or do you prefer to listen to something? I almost always need to be listening to music when I do anything, and drawing is no different. I listen to a lot of Stray Kids, Ateez, and BTS. 26. Traditional artists) What medium do you like most? (Charcoals, pencil, etc) Pencils all the way. 27. What is your biggest inspiration when it comes to drawing, digitally or traditionally? Just seeing things around me inspires me. Because I draw a lot of characters, when I see a cool design, I want to draw that cool design.
