I’ve had a few prominent characters in generations, and I make digital art occasionally. Im applying for Voidkit! I love voidkits design. It’s less detailed than the others, but I adore creepy monster looking this. Also the amount of hollow knight references I can make with the name… hehehe… gender + identity: AMAB but void will be non-binary and use they/it personality: Voidkit is a very sweet cat. They are kind to all, including mean cats, because they are determined that everyone is mean for a reason and wants to find out why and help them. This could easily lead to them getting bullied, and they are utterly terrible at fighting, though they would try to defend themselves if they can. Unfortunately, it’s also a huge scaredy-cat. They are very nervous about pretty much everything, such as sneaking out of camp, or that sharp rock that someone could roll onto, or whatever else they can think of. They will be reluctant to do dangerous things, and frets frequently. Unfortunately, it’s also socially anxious, and can be easily pressured into bad ideas, too scared to speak up for themselves. They are also deathly loyal, and if they get caught doing something against the rules with someone else, they will pin the blame on themselves. They hate how much of a wimp they are, and will try to prove to themselves that they’re brave by doing stupid things like trespassing or fighting predators as an apprentice. Simplified: (+) compassionate, sweet, friendly (=) observant, cautious (-) anxious, insecure, submissive Voidkit stared up with their six red eyes, wide with awe. It had found a little hole in the nursery, open to the sky. The hole was incredibly tiny, but with their six sharp eyes, they could see a few distant stars. It lowered its gaze to look around at the sleeping kits, and felt slightly guilty. Maybe in their place, another kit would have seen the stars and been determined to sneak out, but Voidkit wasn’t brave like that. It looked away, shame filling it. That’s what a brave kit would do, sneak out of camp. Their black fur could make sneaking out easy, and they could be pretty quiet. All the other kits would be so impressed! It seemed to be growing slightly, fur puffing out a bit as it imagined telling all the kits it had gone outside during the night. But the truth was, they wouldn’t, because they were too scared. It shrunk, looking at its claws with disappointment. No, they weren’t going to do that. There were too many ways they could get hurt or die, at least probably. It padded into its little crevice where it slept, feeling ashamed even though no one knew, and tried to sleep. Research: muteness Muteness has many causes, but in Void it will be caused by paralysis of their larynx. Due to this form of muteness, they cannot make any sounds out of their throat, but may be able to sort of hiss sounds, and make certain noises with their mouth. They will know sign language, but may feel frustration trying to communicate with those who don’t know it. They will spend time trying to teach their friends SSL. They will also only know the basics at first, and will need to be taught by other cats who know. This will cause many difficulties with communication, and could affect avoids mental health. It’s hearing and understanding of others speech will be fine. Not sure if I need to put the code words here so I’ll just do that in case. Void is such a cool name, like obsidian or ebony.
