Autotune has always been controversial in SPOP, from people sending in autotuned voices to RAW VOICE auditions, & having a song entirely being autotune to having bits and pieces of autotune to make the song better. So you must be asking "Ichi, why are you talking about this autotune is obviously bad." Well I don't agree with that. Autotune is used by many of our irl favorite artists. The thing is that autotune has been antagonized in SPOP because it has been used wrongly, but it can be used for good. Autotune can help make a voice more blended with a certain song, causing it to sound smoother and more polished. It can also be the tiny pinch of salt to a song that gives it an extra *UMPH* you know ^^. It can also be used wrongly like when you put it into an audition that strictly says RAW VOICES ONLY, yet you think we're dumb and put it in anyways. *EHEM* that was a rant TT. Overall, Autotune is just like anything else it can be used for good and bad. So in the future of SPOP, let's make sure it is used for only good.
