here’s my workout routine as someone trying to gain weight (who is very underweight because of an ed) I work out like 4 times a week I’m 5’9 and around 100lbs, and since I do model I’m still going to stay underweight. I’m aware this isn’t very healthy, but a bmi of 17 is better than 15.4. keep in mind I also do ballet! I’m also eating on a calorie surplus here, my bmr is 1800c and my maintenance is around 2250c. I try to eat around 3000c a day but it’s hard to break bad habits. I am trying, though, and that’s what matters. I want to say that I start with stretching but I do enough of that in ballet. obviously it’s better but I’m not going to give you “do as I say not as I do” instructions lol. I start with glutes, and obviously squats. I do three sets of 20 squats, but I don’t really train glutes too much because it’s in my best interest to not get too bulky, plus I’m naturally slim (asian genes) so it looks a lil funny on me. I then do the stairmaster for like an hour lol, yeah my legs are screaming after but my legs need to stay strong haha. I don’t do too much strength training, I do some curls but my arms are insanely weak so I do like 5-10lbs. I do abs next, and I do reverse crunches and planks. I do like 15-20 of these per set and hold a plank for a minute per set. how many sets I do depends on how much I want to be at the gym that day lol.
