(simple bio) → personality → what i'm looking for/preferences → dynamic ideas [ who is journeykit? ] - journeykit (jou) - one moon - windclan [ personality ] (positive) - charismatic, resilient, intuitive, loyal (neutral) - lazy egotistical, unpredictable, witty, guarded (negative) - manipulative, selfish, judgemental, fragile journeykit is quite the perplexing character. her personality consists of dozens of different layers that you'd have to pick apart to truly get to know her. she is deeply insecure and afraid of being alone, so she uses a false persona to draw cats to her. she's afraid of getting too close because of the feeling that comes with rejection, so she always holds 'friends' at arms length. journeykit uses a range of tactics to keep those around, most of which are particularly damaging. she paints her self as the hero in every story, guilt-tripping cats to like her. all she wants is to feel safe and loved, though she goes about it in the wrong way for sure. [ preferences ] true friends - needs to meet very specific requirements decided on inrp :) my preference - 7/10 journeykit's preference - 4/10 these are cats that have crept into journeykit's soft spot. her love for them overpowers her fear of rejection. desperate to keep them near, jou would be servile to said cat. 'friends' - can pretty much be anybody my preference - 9/10 journeykit's preference - 10/10 these cats are jou's shield, her safety net to protect her from any danger. nothing presented to her 'friends' are genuine, just a enticing enough treat to keep them following her lead. enemies - can be decided inrp my preference - 9/10 journeykit's preference - 4/10 enemies to journeykit are cats who will not play along with her act for security. if she feels that they may attempt to sabotage her and unveil her deepest insecurities, they will be classed as enemies. jou would be willing to fight tooth and claw to keep them quiet. parental figures - could be anybody! my preference - 6/10 journeykit's preference - 3/10 these cats are an interesting mix. they would be treated like her 'friends' though there will be an aspect to them that journeykit looks up to and willingly follows. she does genuinely love them and will look to them for guidance on topics that aren't too private. role models - specific requirements my preference - 5/10 journeykit's preference - 4/10 role models are cats that journeykit looks up to. most of the time, she won't be all too close to them. she will try to shape herself to be like them and may end up copying certain traits of theirs word for word. they'd have to be somewhat highranking in the clan social hiearchy, (though could also be loners). true mutuals - can be anybody my preference - 7/10 journeykit's preference - 7/10 these are cats that jou does not make an effort to befriend. she'll interact with them, though it won't be in a way that allows much progress between them. such cats would usually be warriors. dynamic ideas: sun x moon - journeykit would be the sun and the other cat the moon. this dynamic would be for /true/ friends. moon would be able to read her and might even try helping her. when older, this would be my ideal long term romantic relationship. though, it'd also be a great one for true friends! jou is a toddler, so don't offer this with intent of becoming mates. refrain from offering while she's a child if your plan is that <3 backst4bbers - for enemies. this dynamic would be one that journeykit wouldn't especially appreciate. she would hold the other cat distant in the fear that they will be trying to sabotage her. she'd probably attempt to dethrone them every chance she gets, trying to make sure they can never make a mark on her. very toxic relationship and is based around mistrust and poor intent. wolf x lamb - this dynamic is what is happening with her 'friends'. jou is the wolf and they are the lambs. she is evident to a wolf in sheep's clothing in such relationship, leading the other cat on. she may be manipulative alongwith being obviously fake. everything she does is for the purpose of protecting herself. warbler x cuckoo - the warbler x cuckoo dynamic is for what most of her parental figure relationships will be like. (fyi, cuckoos lay their eggs in a warbler's nest so they raise the chick for them. cuckoo chicks are naturally bigger and get rid of all the warbler's eggs/chicks to be the main focus). the warbler is her parental figure and jou is the cuckoo. its pretty self explanatory, as journeykit is just using the warbler. hawk x fledgling - for her role models! journeykit is like a fledgling and they (role model) are a hawk. journeykit looks up to them and wants to be just like them. she watches from below however, observing their flight and how they target prey, copying their techniques to become as much like them as she can.
