During his battle with King Ghidorah, as a last ditch effort, Godzilla attempted to go thermonuclear, however, it was ineffective. The uncontrollable power was too much for Godzilla, endangering his very life. In order to prevent a nuclear meltdown, Godzilla diverted the energy to his dorsal plates, causing them to rapidly overheat, severely damaging them and melting the white enamel, revealing the yellow tinged bone beneath. Godzilla retreated into the depths of the ocean where he went into a coma-like state for a week, allowing his body to rapidly heal. During the battle, Godzilla sustained wounds to both his body and his ego. His dorsal plates regrew with sharper, much more jagged edges with only a thin layer of enamel, resulting in an off-white colour. Choosing to remain isolated as he grew stronger, Godzilla hid on an island once devastated by nuclear tests: his old home, now coated in a layer of radioactive dust, far from the once lush and vibrant environment. Unable to defeat King Ghidorah as he rampaged across Asia, the CKDF's only hope was to plead to the Shobijin to get the help of Mothra, the only kaiju that would willing help humanity. Or was it? A group of rouge agents decided to take matters into their owns hands with an incredibly risky plan; lure Godzilla towards Ghidorah in hopes that they kill each other.
Toho I simply decided to update my fanmade Godzilla model to give him spikier dorsal plates and a poseable tail. I also made very slight modifications to his head such as giving him a second row of head spikes, pointier ears and more pronounced fangs.
