Hi! Here’s my entry for moth! It’s kinda late considering I sent the entry request almost 20 days ago ‘-_- But I was working on an animation I wanted to put with this drawing, and it’s taken WAY longer than I expected. But anyways, grab a blanket, it’s story time! ————————————————————————— ____________________________________ “I can’t say how long I’ve been here….” ____________________________________ Moth sat in the darkness, remembering how she’d got here. It’s all she could remember. The traveler who’d tricked her, he ripped a star from the sky. Returning home, and being blamed for this, the monarch, her own mother, banished her to this solemn, dark place, bound in chains until the sands of time wore them away. Her inner spark had faded while centuries turned to eons. She looked over the tall trees and into the ink black sky. A small glowing butterfly made its way down, and landed on moth’s paw. It was the first light she saw in years. Its warm glow reminded her of everything she’d ever cherished, and she felt joy, even in a monochrome place like this. The end……?
