The History of The Great Locomotive Chase: - A Union volunteer soldier who goes by the name 'James J. Andrews' worked with his team of other volunteer soldiers to steal the Confederate Locomotive - Their intention was to cut the supply lines of the Confederate Army, thus destroying rail tracks and bridges in the process Anyway, this was fun to animate and research on. This Concert Band piece by Robert W. Smith was inspired by the Locomotive Chase, and it is a very detailed piece matching the story quite well. Almond out !
