Zelda's Pov: "We're finally... here," Paya gasped relieved. "And just in time too," added Riju. "Just in time? It's already sunset!" Paya answered, disagreeing with Riju's claim. "Hey at least we didn't get here at night," Riju said positively. "Come on I'll show you all to the Gerudo town inn, we can stay there for tonight until sunrise." Riju advised as she walked off. Paya grumbled still mad about arriving late and then we all trailed off behind her, slowly following the stony, sandy path Riju was leading us on. She abruptly stopped, in front of the inn and turned around. "Riju," I yelled, "I almost ran into you!" I finished. "Don't stop so suddenly next time okay?" I scolded her. "Sorry Princess, I'll do better next time," She apologizes. "You'd better!" Paya jumps in letting her anger out. "Guys stop it," Yunobu demanded, trying to get us to stop. "We need to get checked-in we have a long day tomorrow, lets go," Yunobu stated, taking the lead. Riju, Paya and I stood there for a moment dumbfounded, Yunobu rarely speaks anymore to anybody anymore. I wonder why he chose to speak up now. I quickly shuffle ahead to the check-in counter where Yunobu is at and searched my old leathery purse for some rupees. Riju jolts out in front of me, her arms stretched wide blocking me from the counter. "I'll pay, for you guys beds, after all you guys are the guests," Riju said sounding strange. She whips around tossing her hair behind her, smiling at the lady behind the counter. "Hi, I would like 3 soft beds please," Riju ordered. "That would be...60 rupees please," said the lady politely holding out her hand for the payment. "Here you go," Riju chirped excitedly. "Have a good rest of your evening ma'am," Riju giggled as she flips around once again skipping out the door to the inn. "Where is she going in such a rush?" Yunobu asks wary. "Probably to her Queen quarters," Paya informed, in a sort of mimicking way. "Princess," Yunobu whispered trying to keep his voice down. "I think it would be better...if I wait for you all at Goron city," "Is that....um..alright? Before I can answer Paya chimes in. "No, no no!" Paya screams at Yunobu. "If you wanted to go to your hometown you should have said something when the Princess gave her orders!" Paya scolded. "Why should the princess waste her time answering you!" Paya yells, frustrated. Yunobu face flushed a color of redish-pinkish as he looked embarrassed. "I can get you a refund if you guys want, just please keep your voices down," Mentioned the girl behind the counter. "Oh really, that would be such a big help, thank you!" I exclaimed happy that we had a solution to the problem. "But Princess-" "Its okay Paya, he can go if he needs it." I told her with a small smile. "Alright as long as you're okay with it," She replies sighing. "Okay now about that refund..." I speak up getting the employees attention. "Here is your 20 rupees back for that one bed, do you want a refund for your bed as well?" Asks the employee. "No, no, just for Yunobu," "Understood, well then here you go here's the 20," She says handing me the rupees. "Alright you may go Yunobu," I tell him. "Yunobu, where'd he go?" I ask Paya. "I guess he was in a hurry," Paya whispered to me. "Anyways Princess, we better get some rest," "We have a lot to do tomorrow!" Paya stated, happily. I slide into the soft bed on the right, pulling the covers gently over me. Paya goes into the bed in the middle. I reach for the table lamp that's beside us and turn it off. "Goodnight, Princess" Paya wishes me, as she pulls her covers over her, turning on her side to sleep. "Goodnight Paya" I whispered as I close my eyes. Link's POV: I wait behind the large boulder, back resting on the rock, waiting for Master Kogha and the girl that looks like Zelda's twin to return to the camp. As I wait I slowly pull out the master sword. I look up and down the shiny sword, from its narrow tips to its hilt. Suddenly I get memories, of a time of my childhood. A time before I held the master sword. A time when I trained, with a soldier's sword...I was just outside a forest, it was gently raining. I was taking shelter underneath a large old oak tree. I was staring out into the green fields that lay beyond me, and I was sitting down back towards the tree, my hand gripped my sword at its hilt, It dripped across my legs. I was only about 10 years old, if I recall. I ran away from home, just moments ago. I had just heard that my dad had died, the King had come all the way to our house just to tell us the news. He mentioned that my dad was one of the Royal army's best knights and that he will be deeply missed. The King said he hoped I would follow in his footsteps, he said that I reminded him of my father and that I had great potential. Oh and before he left he gave me a smile. After that I ran away to clear my mind. From that moment on I knew I wanted to follow in my fathers footsteps, to keep his memory alive. Continued in Notes and Credits.
I also wanted to thank the King. He had come all this way just to tell my mom and I personally. He didn't send someone else, he came himself. That's how you really know that he cared about my father. When I was younger I used to hear rumors of my father being great friends with the King. I really didn't believe him until the King came to my house. It's amazing how things turn out. I guess I'll never be able to thank the King though, the least I can do is protect his daughter, Zelda. She actually kinda reminds me of the King in a way. I mean they are both kind hearted people. Hilda's POV: I stood at the shrine, looking at Ganondorf in shock. He wasn't anything like the Ganon I had to deal with at all. He wasn't a beasty boar at all. Instead he was human. He has gray skin, with yellow-ish demon-like eyes. His long flaming red hair stretched well below his waist, and he was as tall as a giant. He looked like he was in his mid 30's, which doesn't make any sense because he has been around for centuries. Then all of a sudden Kogha the leader of the Yiga Clan pulled my arm down and I fell to the Stony old floor. "You're standing in the presence of Lord Ganondorf, show some respect," He turned and whispered to me. "What if I don't wanna show respect," I grumbled to him in reply. "You all may rise, my subjects," Ganondorf told us with an evil-like smile. "Now, let's regain this kingdom," Ganondorf informed us as he walked out of the shrine. Master Kogha got up and started heading out as well, but I pulled him back. "Do you really think its wise to regain the kingdom, without some sort of plan?" I asked Kogha whispering. "We must trust Lord Ganondorf knows what he is doing," Kogha repiled as he took my hand off of his arm. He then flipped around and hurriedly jogged out of the shrine, to meet up with Ganon. Sigh, why does this have to be so complicated? I questioned myself, as I slowly sauntered out of the Shrine of Resurrection not in any hurry at all. (A few hours later) "Ugh...we are finally back at camp," I said as I bent down drenched in sweat. Lord Ganondorf and Master Kogha were both standing about 5 feet in front of me, looking down at me as I catched my breath. "Tie her up," Ordered Kogha to the Yiga as he pointed at me. My eyes widened as the Yiga jumped out of nowhere, and dragged me to a tall, wooden splinter-like post. They grabbed a rope out of their pockets as another held me down, and tightly rapped it around me and the post. After they finished they returned to Kogha side, and Kogha just waved them off like they were bugs to him. Nothing more, nothing less. He then turned his glance to me, and slowly came a few feet forward. "Do you really think I couldn't tell what you were doing?" He asked me a few inches in front of my face. I just glared at him and then he walked back a few steps. Starting to stride from left to right in slience. I watched narrowing my eyes at him, as he continued to walk. "I should have known you were just trying to take my place as the number 1 servant to Ganondorf," He spoke, breaking the silence. Wait, what? So he's saying that he tied me up, just because I threatened his authority to Ganon? Oh my Hylia, he really is stupid. I mean I already knew he was dumb, but I didn't know he was like this. Ha, this really is going to be easy to fool this self-centered fat Yiga. I put my hand to my mouth trying to hold my laugh in but I couldn't help it I started bursting out laughing. Kogha tilted his head towards me, his face dripping with sweat, of nervousness and embarrassment. "How can you deal with this dumb idiot, Lord Ganondorf," I tell him, as I snicker. Lord Ganondorf was just standing over where he had been for half an hour watching us argue with a small smile, seemingly with pleasure. "Well, I mean he is an idiot, I can tell you that, but he is actually quite loyal and useful to me," Ganondorf replied in a low tone looking over at Kogha. Kogha looked paralyzed, as he quickly glanced between Ganon and me shaking his head in disbelief. "Untie her," Ganon commanded, giving off a laugh. I look down at my feet as they touch the grassy ground. I feel kinda dizzy from being on the post for like half an hour, because of Kogha's jealousy. He looks so pale right now, it's hilarious. I guess that's what he deserves, though he should know better not to mess with me. I quickly turn my head to hear a small twig snap, behind that big boulder over there right outside of the Yiga's camp. I march over there, fast knowing someone has been watching us this whole time. I peer around the boulder and It was just who I expected it to be. It was that hero with the legendary sword, the sword that has the power to destroy Ganon. The one who controls one of the triforce pieces. One of my targets. I was about to call over Ganon and Kogha but the kid, put his hand over my mouth to shush me and tugged me down behind the boulder. You gotta be kidding me. Song = Hilda's Theme
