welcome back to the third time I've redrawn this artwork! let's all appreciate my artistic journey together, shall we space/click/arrows 1.) The very first one! I drew this piece for @_Katara-Waterbender_ 's DMC four years back. The character in question is named Mariah. For how old this is, I actually don't think it's that bad. I like the concept a lot, and I think I did the character justice. This was created to match the vibes of the song Pools, by Glass Animals. 2.) Starry Sky two: Electric Boogaloo! This was drawn nearly three years ago, and was intended to match the vibes of the song As It Was, by Harry Styles. I really like this! I think it has my favorite concept of all four, and the improvement between it and the first one is incredible. We lost the duck along the way though. It doesn't come back. 3.) Starry Sky three: Tokyo Drift! This piece is almost exactly two years old, and (as far as I can remember) was not created with the vibe of any particular song in mind. You can tell I've started really improving with my shading and general style, and I like the colors on it a lot. I'd also permanently departed from black lineart by the time it was drawn. This one somehow, second only to the first because it was created in the scratch bitmap editor, has the highest image quality out of the four. I'm not sure how I did that. 4.) Starry Sky four: On Stranger Tides! The fourth and so far final piece was created today, with the intent of matching the vibes of the song Minor Holiday, by Sparkbird(I love Sparkbird). As you can see, I've finally decided to stop coasting off @_Katara-Waterbender_'s oc and start using my own, so that's the character you see. I think the colors are the best they've ever been, though they were always bound to be more interesting than 'blue character on blue background'(no shade at all to Mariah, the blue-and-yellow thing I had going for a while was really cool, but I've learned I usually like more variety in my color palettes). You can also tell I'm no longer a scratch main because this one isn't in the project screen dimensions haha. This drawing might become lore, who knows haha And that's the end for now! haha man I am tired I spent like five hours last night on embroidery
