if ya wanna join please talk to me on https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1209390331/ ^_^ heya gang, we made some puzzles for the grifftopia rpg, they’re so confusing even i was confused by the conundrums- oh and yeah new star chart mechanic idea!!!!
-A Science Fair I Will Always Remember- (Star Chart Mechanic Intro) The player would explore the science fair outside, when they find two people building.. a cannon? A tube? A telescope? “Ah, finally! I thought I- we could never build it! A TELESCOPE!!” The telescope in question was a modified old cannon, with glass and some wood planks attached to it. It is a Dobsonian. However, this telescope bears an ancient artifact, of unknown origin within the lens. The object seemed to be magnetically attached to a specific constellation in the sky. As soon as it is put in - the telescope began diverging towards the constellation. There was no astronomy tracking program attached to this telescope. “This is sure to win the science fair!” “You know this is MORE than a school project.. right? Doge, we’re trying to pinpoint this ancient, mysterious-“ “Yeah, yeah, it’s a SELF MOVING TELESCOPE. I really don’t care, as long as we win this..” “Okay, fine.. Maybe I do care about the ancient civilization, afterlife, whatever it is you’re looking for, Sage.” “I’m telling you, that star is NOT like the others.” The telescope comes to an abrupt halt once it reaches the star Sage was talking about. They both look through it and see a bunch of other stars alongside the bright, luminous ones. It seems as if there is a secret constellation hidden within! “This, is where it begins, Doge! This is MORE than school.. it’s.. the SKY DIMENSION!!” “That’s silly, Sage. The sky dimension is in.. the sky!! Clouds, pillars, Zeus or something..” “A limbo between sky and space. Something i’ve chased alongside the moon. What are we waiting for? Let’s look for the lost constellation!!” “I seriously don’t get it.” “YOU!! Person!! Wanna help us??” [The player would then start the Sky Dimension side quest. To unlock it, you must do simple, short quests that will gain you the ability to find the stars in the lost constellation. More info in project!] (1ST STAR DISCOVERED) That marks the start of.. the start of our journey!” said Sage. (7TH STAR DISCOVERED) “From the 6th shining star to the 7th darker one, we really are making progress.. Why are we doing this, again?” said Doge. (15TH STAR DISCOVERED) “YAYYY!!! We are so close to unlocking, the “Zeus Pillar Cloud” dimension as Doge calls it..” said Sage. (20TH STAR DISCOVERED) “Hm. 2020. When Grifftopia rose! At least, I think. I don’t really remember those history books” said Doge. “Anyway, we’re almost there!” (25TH STAR DISCOVERED) “The final star!! We can do it.. YAYYY!!” said Sage. “…” “See. I told ya nothing would happen. It’s really just a constel-“ “IT’S BEEN 7 SECONDS, DOGE!!! COME ON!!!!” “Q..” Doge would lean back against the artifact, when suddenly.. A large, purple tractor beam landed upon them. They then began to shiver and shake, gradually disappearing into the night. As it turns out, everything Sage said, may just be reality.. The player would be shocked, however that feeling rapidly fades away for some unknown reason. It seems that doing all those quests took a toll on them- they nearly fall asleep, on the grass, but for some reason, they seemed inclined to enter the dimension too. But, they wouldn’t enter it alone! They began searching for reliable party members, however most of them seem to be sleeping. The town seemed all quiet, before the players hears the sound of TV..
