I had more trouble with the low notes than I did the high ones lol I upload new versions of this cover all the time (cause I get bored at school so I just edit this cover) so dont be alarmed when you come here one day like "Wait, I swear it didn't sound like that before" cause ur probably right. Sorry if I pronounced some of the Korean wrong. I don't speak Korean, so I literally had to go off of what I heard them say in the song. One of the lyrics I slowed down and listened to like a million times and I still think I pronounced it wrong... Also, something crazy I noticed while tuning this, if you slow down the intro, when you listen really closely, you can kinda hear them saying "Gonna be gonna be gonna be" in some parts and I thought that was kinda cool (I put it inside the project for proof) For this one, I decided to turn auto tune down to like 20%
Yes guys, I did a cover of Golden. Was it hard? YES. VERY HARD. But I like to challenge myself because I'm still discovering my full range. During this, I found what my lowest note is (E3) (Yes, that means I didn't hit all of the low notes) but I did not find what my highest note is (Yes, I could go higher than "Born to be" in my head voice, but DEFINETLY not in my chest/mixed voice) I started this cover at about 8:00 a.m. and finished at 4:00 p.m. That means that this cover took 8 HOURS to make! 8 HOURS!!!!!! Do you know how long that is? Thats the entire day!!!! But, ya know, the result was worth it :) No joke guys, I literally had over 100 failed recordings after this, ESPECIALLY on "Born to be". Like, seriously, I would get like "Born to" right and then "be" would be off, then I would get "be" right and "Born to" would be off. Also, for some reason, on "Gonna be gonna be golden", I could not sing the second "Gonna be" without having a terrible voice crack. It was also really hard to do the "No more hiding I'll be shining" after the bridge. It is extremely low. I could keep going on, but ya'll probably didn't come to hear about my struggles. So please no hate guys, I tried my best :( Rumi is VERY talented...
