This MAP will focus on Feathertail’s journey — her struggles, her quiet strength, and ultimately, her sacrifice. Using “Saturn” by Sleeping at Last, we’ll follow her story from childhood to her moments in the caves, exploring themes of love, loss, and the bittersweet beauty of her destiny. This is an AU-style retelling, showing Feathertail’s perspective in a more emotional, symbolic way rather than strictly canon. Even though she does survive the battle with SharpTooth Think of it as her reflecting on her life — her relationships with her family, Crowfeather, and her purpose. 1. Submission Info Due Date: You have 3-4 weeks to finish your part, extensions can be given. Deadline Policy: Late submissions = Crowpaw sighing dramatically. Don’t test him. 2. Your Assignment - Animate your assigned part of the MAP (Part 1–15). - Length: 7–12 seconds per part. Story explores her emotional journey. - Mood: Emotional, cosmic, reflective — think stars, night skies, and quiet moments. - Visual Tips: - Use starry backgrounds, glowing fur, slow pans, subtle expressions. - Small gestures count — paw twitches, tail flicks, head tilts. - Emphasize Feathertail’s emotions: sorrow, determination, and quiet strength. 4. Do’s ✅ - Respect the AU: no random cats or self-insert OCs unless part of your scene. - Take your time on animation — quality over speed. - Give credit for any assets that are not yours. - Help other animators if you finish early — sharing the starlight is encouraged. - Use timing with the song to match emotional beats. 5.
