One day, he was out walking and he met a rouge who had her leg caught in a bear trap, and he rescued her. He later invited her to come live in his clan with him to heal, and the cat ( Her name was Wind) accepted. As Wind was healing in Ruststripe's clan, she began to enjoy how life worked in the group, eventually joining the clan, and changed her name to Windsong. Ruststripe and Windsong grew very close as they trained, and Ruststripe asked Windsong to be his mate, and she said yes! They are still living in this Fernclan, and Windsong is now expecting his kits!
