Welcome! Feel free to ask questions here: FAQs Q&A Q: What generation am In? A: We are currently in generation one! Q: Where can we ask questions if we are confused? A: Here! Q: Can my cat have a relationship? A: Yes, but your cat can only have crushes during training, anything more must take place after graduation. Extra info: (aka stuff that didn’t fit in description) The the Marketplace is a fun location that Solstice allows her students to go after the become Trainees. It’s a fun place with a fair-like atmosphere that sells trinkets, food, and fun missions and side quests! Here you can meet an endless amount of NPC’s and learn information from them. In each age group here are your abilities/Choices: Kitten: -Stay in camp -Sneak out of camp -Interact with other kits -Interact with Solstice -Interact with NPC’s in camp Trainee: -Train to be a shopkeeper, guardian, healer, or trainer -Go to the Marketplace -Visit the Park -Visit the square -Visit the fountain -Interact with NPC’s -Interact with other Players -Interact with Solstice -Witness public events Graduate: Become a shopkeeper, guardian, trainer, or healer. Sign up for next generation(opt.) Remember actions have consequences. If you leave camp as a kitten, there is a 30% chance of you being successful, 30% chance of you getting lost, 30% chance of you getting kidnapped, and 10% chance you get caught by solstice as your leaving. So unlike most roleplays this is more lore focused, you make choices that decide your fate, and the actions you choose can have consequences have effects on future generations. Certain actions you can only do in each age group and depending on what you choose it could lead to your safety or your demise. As you grow up you unlock new parts of the city, which you can use to find out lore. Contd below
Continued Speaking of lore… Lore! Basically every generation will have a plot, based off of past generations. You need to collect lore to discover what the plot of this generation is. You can collect lore by… -Talking with Solstice! -Interacting with NPC’s! -Taking risks! But be careful… not every cat has your best interests at heart. Cats will lie, steal, cheat, and have bias if it means what’s best for them. Even cats you think you know are hiding deep secrets. Np- what now?! NPC’s! Npc stands for Non-player character, it is a character that you can meet, question, and interact with. You can meet with and Npc by asking me in the “Meet an Npc” project below to meet your available Npc. They will have a pre-planned backstory and info they can give you… if you ask the right questions. But be careful if you’re too prying or insulting, they may shut down or refuse to talk to you. Certain NPC’s are exclusive to certain people, eg if you are in camp you can’t interact with a cat in the market. Wait. Is what you know what I know? There is a catch with lore.. lore that you find out, only you know about. The only way for other people to know what you find out is by sending it to the “Gossip Circle” project. There everything will be added to the description where you will work together to make conclusions on how to successfully live through the season. Speaking of which.. This rp will contain a lot of violence(not in any graphic detail) and death (not in any graphic detail) There is only a 50% chance your character will survive the season. This can be sad if you grow an emotional connection to a character, so my suggestion is create characters that are unique but.. disposable. If your cat was carrying trinkets, or special items that you want to give to your next character, solstice will collect them after you die, and give them randomly to a kit in the next generation *Cough cough hint hint* it’s you :o. And what if your character survives?! You ask, you will have a choice: You may kill off your character and have an automatic slot in the next season or you may become a PC! A PC is a Playable Character, sort of like an NPC except you will become a part of the world and get to interact with future generations! And what if my character dies? You will have a chance to re-apply for the next generation! Luckily, most deaths won’t occur until the end, so you won’t have to wait very long.
