I drew these in my digital illustration class traditionally before making them SVGs in my actual art style. Thought you guys might think they look cool. Bonus at the end with the original drawings and a few others that I did during class. Couple things to note. - Red eye motif is cool - The stomach mouth thing was supposed to look cooler tbh. I have a sketch where it actually looks good I swear - These were actually from a previous era where the story I wanted to tell had quite a bit more LDS (religious) inspiration, specifically inspired by Dante's Inferno (because omg that's the book that games steal from!). I decided I want to take a more sc-fi and grounded approach instead of leaning too heavily into the magic side (Sisu will still be a major part though, don't worry). - Each character has their own shade of red! - Their names (in order of appearance) were originally Lucifur (GET IT?! FUR?! yeah ik it doesn't fit with the rest but it was funny at the time), Vour (like devour), Rend (idk violence is cool), and Vex (ngl this is my least favorite name here, just doesn't sound unique enough) - Rend is my favorite design here tbh. I actually didn't like it at first, but the kind of wild, silent rage miniboss vibe is just SO strong, that chainsaw thing looks awesome, and the torn off ear adds that perfect amount of spice. - YES I KNOW THERE'S ONE DEMON THAT I DIDN'T DRAW IN SVG WITH A COOL DESIGN. That one was just named Fraud and I got lazy. The face is fake and the tail-eye is its real head. - The Lightbringers (lil dudes with the tattoos) were a cult that worshiped the demon dudes. The cool part (and the one thing I regret from leaving these out of the storyline) is that when they fall asleep, the demons take over their bodies and grant powers. They don't really mind control them or take them as vessels, they more use a general influence that lets them command them like troops or menial workers based on the one the Lightbringer chose to tattoo themselves with (each demon has their own pattern and symbols). - I am ABSOLUTELY keeping that eye design even though these dudes are scrapped.
