Chapter 4 - The (first) Fight (Previous chapter: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1213645079/ ) Nori and Uzi glared at Cyn. “Cyn, stop it.” “Amused. Why would I do that?” Nori sighed. “Because, well, because I told you to!” She stammered, unable to think of a real answer. “Giggle. You’re funny, Nori. It’s a shame Yeva used the Patch on you. But, there’s no Patch left to save her.” Cyn said smugly. “She’ll fight you off, I know it. I’ve seen her do it.” Uzi snapped. “Annoyed. No she won’t.” Cyn said, annoyed. “Uzi. Railgun. Now.” Nori said quickly to Uzi, who was starting to run out of the room, but was stopped by Cyn using the Solver on the door, shutting it. “Giggle. Nice try, Uzi.” Uzi looked over at the door and back over to Cyn, attempting to use her Solver on her, but ultimately getting the usual error: [Like object non-interactable]. Cyn used her Solver to pick up a dresser in the room, and was about to use it to crush the two, but froze as Callie’s eyes flickered from yellow back to their normal teal, before going back to yellow. “Woo! Keep fighting it, Callie!” Nori cheered. “Angry.” Cyn said, dropping the dresser right above the two. Fortunately, both Uzi and Nori used their Solvers to stop the dresser from crushing them, putting it back on the floor safely. “Very angry.” Cyn muttered, as yet again, Callie’s eyes flickered again, but slightly longer until it went back to yellow. Nori cheered again, as Cyn threw a chair at her in anger. Nori stopped it with her Solver. Cyn froze yet again, her eyes flickering between yellow and teal once more. However, it didn’t stop. “No- s-stop it- st-stop fighting m-me-!” Cyn said, her and Callie’s voices glitching, and intertwined. After a few minutes of this, Callie’s eyes returned to their normal teal, and collapsed. Her visor displayed: ‘ATTEMPTING SYSTEM REBOOT.’ “…That went…surprisingly fine. But Uzi, you need to get to bed.” “Ugh, bite me! There’s no way I’m going to bed now.” Nori sighed. “Fine. It’s going to be a bit before she resets however.” A few minutes later, Callie had successfully rebooted, and was sitting up. “God, I hate Cyn.” “Giggle. Talking about me? Sure, you managed it again, but I’m not quite done with you yet, Callie.” Cyn said, having gone back to Uzi’s tail, which Uzi smacked angrily. “Shut up, Cyn.” “Amused. Fine. I’ll be seeing you soon, Callie!” Cyn left, the yellow glow of Uzi’s tail fading. “Uzi? Is there any way to get rid of your tail?” Callie asked. “I don’t think so…?” “…I really need you to get rid of it. Cyn’s getting on my nerves. And it was hard as hell to fight her off a few minutes ago.” “Callie, we understand, but I just don’t think she can. Can we talk about this is the morning?” Nori asked. “…I guess so…?” Callie muttered, getting up. “Uzi, get to bed.” “Ugh, bite me!” “Uzi. Don’t make me wake up Khan.” “…Fine…” Uzi muttered angrily, not wanting Nori to wake up her dad. He’d probably just ramble on and on about doors again. Though Uzi knew that Nori didn’t like Khan rambling about doors either. Uzi started to walk out of the room, Nori following and closing the door, leaving Callie alone in her room. She tried using her Solver, and it momentarily flickered yellow, scaring her. Cyn was trying to use her. And Callie needed to do something about it, fast. Otherwise, Cyn might just finish the job she came to do. End of chapter 4! I’m SOOO sorry for the delay, I had a bit of writer’s block. Hoping to get chapter 5 out quicker.
Murder Drones belong to Glitch Productions and Liam Vickers. Nori, Uzi, Cyn, Yeva, the Crucifix Patch, the Solver, and Khan belong to the above. Callie is my OC.
