(Theory time >:) HOLY LOR WHAT THE HUH??? So the girl you see before you is Neichel. If you don’t know who that is, she’s the canon in-game singer of Welcome to the New World (Forgotten Land’s main theme), and Twinkling Star Showers (Star-Crossed World’s main theme). Neichel had a bit of importance in Forgotten Land, but she’s SUPER important in Star-Crossed World. It’s revealed towards the end of the game that the Ancients used Elfilis’ dimensional powers to create ships like the Lor Starcutter, which they used to escape the Forgotten Land. In one of the gotcha figures, it’s also revealed that Neichel stayed behind in the Forgotten Land. But…where is she, then? Well, the last bonus track in Star-Crossed World is Neichel’s unfinished song. What’s weird is that it doesn’t have actual lyrics in it, just mechanical sounding music. The lyrics are added on the bottom of the screen, but nobody’s singing. In it, she talks about teleporting between dimensions a lot, which is weird, because she stayed behind, right? She also talks about her “wish” a lot, but we don’t know what that is. Then, she talks about an “artificial heart”, and that she “doesn’t have white wings yet”. The song ends with the same beeping you hear in the Lor Starcutter in Return to Dream Land. Holy cow. The Lor Starcutter IS sentient, like we thought. It’s Neichel.
