~ S h e l f ~ --- Intro-- - Hi and welcome to shelf! - A cosy lil interactive thing to play around with --///Seizure warning!! in the colouring book minigame (the orange book on top of the puzzle) the cursor somtimes flashes rapidly when you hover over the back button. i could not figure out a way to fix this, and sometimes it's fine and doesn't happen. if anyone does know i'd be happy to hear in the comments! thanks y'all, stay safe :) -- Instructions-- - Click the different items on the shelf to play around with them -- Items-- - Rock Collection: * A collection of cool stones and metals - Lava Lamp: * Click to watch the lava lamp * Press space to change the colour - Colouring Book: * Drag your cursor to colour in the colouring pages * Press the up arrow key to go to the next colouring page * Press space to change the colour you draw with * Pressing the back arrow will erase your drawing - Puzzle: * Drag around the puzzle pieces to complete - Notebook * - Plants * Check out the plants on the windowsill - Stories (NOT DONE YET I FORGOT TO FINISH THEM) * Read Three stories; Nitaya's Birthday gifts, Blue slope, and Turtle Island. * Nitaya's Birthday Gifts takes place in Thailand, and Blue Slope is a poem describing the eidleweiss in the swiss alps. Both of these stories are from a book called Around the World with Koa Koala by Kathryn Jackson and illustrated by Benvenuti. I have had this book for years and it was one of my favourites as a kid. i'm pretty sure it was also my mum's when she was a kid. * The Turtle Island story featured in this project is one version of the Ojibwe creation story.
