꩜ honest opinions and hot takes bc i haven't been able to sing in a while hahahahaha . one . popularity probably is wayy too real. like bfr! maybe there's a certain vocalist or rapper or something thats like super good right but they would rather choose the artist with more followers. sometimes that can be used as an advertising tactic, but i think we should be supporting smaller artists too jdjdjkjd . two . uhm deep voices need to be appreciatedd!! i was on an audition and the only artists that got accepted had extremely high pitched voices. guys. just a reminder that if you have a voice that high they're probably like .. under 12. iykwim. kpop prizes lower voices and i think spop should too. because likely the people with lower voices are legit just as talented if not more because you have the amount of vocal training to not have to use head voice etc . three . spop is NOT kpop... bfr... like you should genuinely not be giving your soul to this website. you absolutely do not have to comply or listen to a company and if they're being disrespectful or you're stressed then leave?? you're not in a literal contract lol . four . just because they're good or popular doesn't mean they're the best! i don't have many vocalist examples because i feel like in general there's better acceptance for people, however, rapping imo is different. lots of sky this sky that and like girl shes GREAT like omg. but. i feel like ppl are glazing her a lot when I've come by people who are just as good as her and very very on pitch. but zero hate to sky bc i love her . five . more og songs plz! like i KNOW what debut sounds like. it's hard to enjoy the music as much as i would bc i KNOW what the real song sounds like. idk i just don't enjoy covers as much bc I've seen some absolutely AMAZING originalss . six . adding onto that it's like, we need to release more than a single. we love listening to albums and like you know like idk i just prefer listening to albums rather than clicking thru 20 different projects lol i don't actually have very many but i thought id share these
