I kept getting muted. *sob* So here it is! Bobtail; Since Songbirdkit is an American Bobtail, her tail will not affect her life at all! It does give her higher risk of spinal-related issues such as arthritis and things along those lines! This is mostly a danger to tail-less breeds, so since Song has a tail, albeit a short one, this is not so much of an issue for her. Surprisingly, bobtails do not affect a cat’s ability to balance and such, and seem to do just as well as any other cat in hunting and fighting! Songbirdkit will be perfectly fine, and will be able to hunt and fight like every other cat. The issue with folded ears is that it affects the cardiology, and can cause pain, or an early onset in arthritis or something of that sort. Cats with folded ears can hear fine, however the symptoms/result of folded ears can vary in severity, with some barely showing any sign of pain and no early arthritis, while others feeling a lot of it and such. I don’t think Songbird will feel severe issues, and it’ll actually cause the kit little to no trouble at all for most of her life.
