hello everyone! you probably don't know me (im just a nobody) but i recently just hit my grand follower goal of one follower! to celebrate, i am hosting a draw to adopt! :D REMIX TO ENTER! the characters are: 1. neptunic skies 2. storks by the sea 3. cupcake deadline is 1/12/2025 [1st December 2025]! I will give a 2 week extension if necessary! to adopt the character: - you gotta draw the character by remixing this project and adding your entry! :) - any type of drawing / animation counts, as long as it it clear that you are drawing the character you want to enter for! entry guidelines: - below are some guidelines (rules) for entries, regarding the designs! failure to adhere to these guidelines will mean that you will not be entered into the competition! yes, you MAY: - add minor changes to the design (minor color palette shifts, design simplifications) - change them from feral to anthro, add clothes and accessories, etc - make your entries animated! - use traditional art in entries! (please note that the photo quality WILL impact your final chances of winning) no, you may NOT: - change the species of the design [adding a species-bent version is alright, as long as you DRAW THE ORIGINAL DESIGN alongisde your species-bent entry!] - make major edits to the design patterns / palette - use bases, even if you made them yourself! the point is for your own art to shine through! rules: - use your own art! getting someone else to draw an entry for you, even if you commissioned them, will get you disqualified. - you may enter for multiple designs, but can only win one! - please be nice to other people with their entries and don't roast them - scratch is a friendly website and we are all beginner friendly :) tips for winning: - follow the rules and guidelines! - effort > quality > quantity! even if you think your art is "bad", i'll judge entries based on effort instead of just quality so everyone has a fair shot if they put in the effort! - interesting entry ideas - such as an animation meme, amv or even a game! - giving your character a name and backstory.. what do they like? what will you use them for, what's their personality etc? - if you like, you can even draw them a playlist / give them a "defining song album!" - if you have other characters, you are free to draw them interacting with your other characters, or the designs interacting with each other if you're entering for multiple designs! that's all! have fun with these designs! :D
