For now there are only two. To enter, remix this project and draw one or both of the characters in your own style! Please spend some time on your entry and put effort into it. Some tips: • Shade! • You can mess with the design itself too! I'd like to see some creativity, though you can stick with what I came up with too. • Add a bio! • Make a background! • You can use your own palette, as long as the colors are somewhat the same; for example, making adopt #1's shirt orange instead of blue would not be advisable, while selecting your own blue would be fine. :) • Give her your own pose and draw her in your own style! Even if you can copy my drawing node by node, drawing her exactly as I did won't win you the adopt. • Try to avoid using a base! Draw it completely originally. :) For adopt #1: • You can mess with her hair a bit; I drew it with the mindset of it being in a semi-messy bun, which you can't see from the front, but you can draw her with her hair down or with short hair. • You can either make the dots on her sleeves polka dots or sequins. Or you can get rid of them altogether. For adopt #2: • You can design your own embroidery for her sash! Don't feel obligated to use my design :) • You could also make the hem a little longer. I was shooting for a simplified slightly-Norwegian-esque dress, so typically the hem would go to the ankles. I was already making my own style of dress, so I made the skirt shorter for the fun of it, but if you want to stick to traditional that's great :D The sleeves would also go to the wrists. In fact if you went full Norwegian style that would be pretty cool to see. I just made this up from memory and my own whims. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments! Current deadline: The end of the year or soon after I may add more adopts, but it depends on whether I get inspiration or not. The inspiration for adopt came in the middle of the night :P If you had seen it, it would've looked like I was sleeping and then suddenly sprang up, stage-whispering "I gotta draw it! I gotta draw it!" as I scrambled for the light and a sketchbook. xD
