One was to be tested and the other was the one to test them. Jane was old enough to work there, at 16, but Dae was only 7, so he was tested on. Eventually, they both went crazy. At one point, Dae’s tests got out of hand, and he became possessed by a demon. Dae had no control over his body, but he could still talk and move only his hands(for a little while). The flashback of his sister was the moment right before she died- right before Dae uhhhh maybe made an oopsy and made Jane go bye-bye. And Dae remembers her sometimes.
