֍ In this project there are different characters that can play music. They don't all play their own song, but rather, their own melody - so, as expected, you can combine multiple characters in order to create a cool beat! In order to add in a character, you have to tap and hold one of the icons at the bottom, and drag it to an empty polo. An empty polo would be a grey character that looks bored and doesn't make any sound. If you want to remove a character, then simply click on that character, and they'll go away. Press space in order to reset all the polos, effectively clearing the current stage. Sorry, the characters are really out of order, no, I'm not going to do anything to fix their order by instrument type or even do so much as to fix this run-on sentence
Really old version: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1227247430/ ***PRESS SPACE TO RESET THE STAGE!!!*** - Also, this isn't finished yet. I built this completely from the base up. The main engine (that runs the polos and icons) took some time to troubleshoot, but it works now. I guess. I made this anew because 1). it's cool, 2). the other engine(s?) is/are WAY overused, 3). I wanted to see how it would work, if I could even get it to work, and 4). my "Sprunki - Simplified" project, to put it the least, was absolute garbage. I'm going to comment the code so it's easier to understand... ...soon. Sometime. Because this uses a new engine, it does have a few bugs, but generally they would only happen if you were trying to make them happen. The polos are now in one singular sprite instead of 7 (7! 7!!!!!!!!!) individual sprites. More compressed. I didn't spend much time on this, so it uses really simple animations... Don't expect much from them. --UPDATE LOGITH!-- - Oct. 10, 2025: 1st Major Okay, this combines multiple small updates since I didn't document them separately, so here you go * Fixed clearing by space. Finally all of those stupid polo problems are gone. You can still press "r" if you liked the old (buggy) way of dropping the characters. * More characters. I actually added 7 more, being: > Wlkr > Breight > Noris > Kuro > Arol > Kelith > Twain - Added three buttons with corresponding menus: > Gallery > Info / Bio > Settings * Got rid of the night overlay. It was causing way too many problems with the new menus and stuff * (Maybe...?) I fixed the extra polo problem where sometimes it would just place a character on a non-existent 9th polo - Oct. 5, 2025: Info update Along with 5 new characters, there's also two new buttons, each respectively to open the gallery or info. A settings menu might be added, too. - Oct. 1, 2025: some fixes There was a glitch where if you placed down a character right after pressing space (to reset the stage), they would stay, but wouldn't be counted (so they would just be silent). Now, that can still happen, but they'll just immediately go back down instead of staying. Also, there was a random glitch where if you were holding an icon and started resetting the stage over and over again, you could stack icons... and have a polo with like 15 characters on it. It was chaos, but now it's gone... ngl It was funny tho I kinda liked it :\ - Sept. 25, 2025: Bug update! Sometimes if you put a character on polo 7, their icon would immediately become movable again? Well, now that's fixed. (: - Sept. 21, 2025: First real "update". Fixed costume bugs. be thankful that I went and switched every instance of a direct costume change with the new "switch" function ! ! Well, now there's "remove" costumes for each character too, so they don't just leave emotionlessly or glitch out. Oh yeah that random stick-figure polo in the Gallery is from Incredibox - June (By Sawtooth18)
