THERE ARE A FEW DIFFERENCES. Grab Dashing sends you out of Mach Run no matter how fast you're going. Spindashing puts you in Mach Run, Drop Dashing doesn't. Mach Running is only set if you're on the ground, not skidding, and not spinning, and it considers you as Mach Running if you're above a certain speed, you're Wall Running, or you're Super Jumping, and all that only if the Mach button is held. Diving then Grab Dashing cancels the dive, but Grab Dashing then Diving allows you to dive with the speed of the Grab Dash. Grab Dashing midair sets your y velocity to 0 unless you start it on the ground and then jump. It also doesn't set to 0 after the first midair Grab Dash before touching the ground. Wall Running nullifies any momentum you would gain/lose from the slope, basically making you run as if running on flat ground. There are five stages of Mach Running, shown by the sounds made when you move. Mach 0 is very slow movement, Mach 1 is jogging, Mach 2 is running (and the fastest speed you can go without actually Mach Running), Mach 3 is peeling out, and Mach 4 is still peeling out but with extra effects. Wall Sliding can be kinda janky sometimes. Wall Running can ALSO be kinda janky. Mach Skidding doesn't carry midair. This means that if you try to Quick Turn but you fall off a ledge, you can't Quick Turn once you hit the ground like you can in regular Pizza Tower.
