These are the official rules for The Four Clans Roleplay. Please know that by signing up, you are agreeing to have read and to abide by these rules. Violations of these will result in varying degrees of punishment, so make sure you read closely! – Section 1 | Out-Of-Roleplay Rules 1. All roleplays must be kept either PG or PG-13 (aka nothing ST wouldn't allow.) Highly sensitive topics relating to negative mental health are NOT allowed. 2. Hate the character, not the roleplayer. Hate speech, homophobia, transphobia, religious intolerance, racism, sexism, ableism, and general bigotry are not permitted in TFCRP. This includes passive insults or making jokes that others are not comfortable with. 3. AI is absolutely NOT allowed in TFCRP. This includes, but is not limited to, AI-generated content used in TFCRP roleplay responses, (the second sign-up cw is your favourite colour) character designs, reference projects, kit applications, etc. 4. Only admins, admin helpers, and people assigned by the admins may help accept bios in their respective groups. 5. Do not mini-mod. If you have to say “not an admin but…” then don't do it. Report incidents to a member of the admin team privately. The only exception is if you have explicit permission from one or both CEOs with evidence. 6. You cannot kill off a character that was created less than 5 IRL weeks ago. After your character dies, you must wait 7 days to create a new one. Section 2 | In-Roleplay Rules 2.1 Character Rules 1. Your character cannot be perfect, nor can they know something because you know it without learning it IRP. Your character is not superior to any other just because you say so. Please roleplay realistically. 2. You can have up to 3 alive characters, though some opportunities (such as event litters and raffles) allow for a temporary 4th character slot. Your characters cannot be in the same group, may never meet, cannot be closely related while alive, and cannot be high ranks simultaneously. 3. All disorders must be researched with links as proof. Do not give characters a disorder/disability for an “aesthetic.” 4. The height limits of TFCRP (excluding special traits) are 6-14 inches, and any breed that exceeds or goes below that is NOT allowed. 5. High ranks must be at least relatively active. You can still ask to be excused, but if your group is beginning to suffer due to your inactivity, your character may be forced to step down. 6. To have a character leave their current group, you must ask the admin of both your group and the one you wish to join. Loners and kittypets may not join a Clan if that Clan is closed or if the character was made less than 1 irl week ago. 7. Cats are permitted to dislike another because of where they come from, with IRP reason (i.e. clan cats disliking kittypet-born cats, aka xenophobia). However, please refrain from joking about it and place trigger warnings. 8. Do not kill, horribly injure, or do something that could be life-changing to a character unless you have their roleplayer’s permission. Killing another cat requires a good reason. You may NOT, under any circumstances, cannibalize another cat. 9. Your cat cannot become insane or evil without receiving permission from their respective group admin and all CEOs. You also must provide a good reason as to why your character will act that way, excluding a made-up backstory. Losing family is not a valid reason to become evil/insane due to the nature of activity checks. 10. You must receive permission to become evil BEFORE performing any 'evil' action (especially intentional murder or attempted murder without motive). If there are already 3 evil/insane cats in your respective group, your cat will not receive permissions. Exceptions to this limit may be granted, such as in cases of a group similar to Brokenstar's group.
