<!> Project contains flashing lights. <!> 3 defenders (Including 2 with pretty unique abilities, 4 if you include the summoned one) and 4 enemies (2 with unique abilities) for the release project. Scope creep goes hard. I feel like, in addition to general regression after summer, there's a drought of actual good ideas in the defenders community and I don't have much motivation to invest in that kind of stuff, but I'm not very good at creative thinking. Put that together and you have a remake of a remake. --|Rules|-- - Don't add anything sloppy. I'm making this project with something quality in mind, and don't want this to be ruined by "haha funny square". - Balance your defender. - You CAN edit the background without my permission. By this, I mean please do edit the background my art skills are nonexistent aaaaaaaa - You're not required to update the thumbnail, and are allowed to remove elements if you deem it needed to show off all the new content. Just don't do anything too crazy, K? - Don't make your defender excessively large (I won't provide a size number to go by as that doesn't respect the costume sizes themselves), no stealing characters and no using recolors of existing media or PNGs. You ARE allowed to re-use defenders from old projects. - If you add new music make sure to credit the makers and add it to the music display. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out how to use it. - Defenderpedia and Enemypedia inside the project (D/E to open, down arrow to close, right/left to flip pages). Stick to the general style of the existing pages (Separate character and attack pages, using icons for each attack, fonts used, you get the deal. You don't have to include passives if your character doesn't have any and can use 2+ attack pages if you run outta room) - Just don't be a jerk. - You're allowed to alter a character's balancing without the creator's consent, but any graphic/code changes made without their permission are not allowed. If a balancing change is reverted, DO NOT try to re-implement it or anything similar. - Have common sense. - You have the right to alter anything that clearly violates rules without the creator's consent (Deleting characters that violate the media rule, shrinking oversized characters, redesigning/removing/replacing low-quality characters, etc.) - If you repeatedly rule break with no clear intention of abiding by the rules (Especially if you repeatedly reverse reversions of a rule violation) you WILL be banned from the chain.
Be careful when editing the Defender/Enemypedia, as scratch isn't super cooperative with extra fonts. Don't use select tool and then switch to text, as this will default it to Sans Serif. Just select it with the text tool active, and it'll be fine. I deliberately made the Destroyer not stun Forest Guardians. Feel free to change this if you want. The guardian having stun immunity is also intentional, as if he was ever in an area with Destroyers around he was basically rendered entirely unviable as he'd basically always get stunned out of his windup. Music Credits: -Rules of Nature, Red Sun, I'm My Own Master Now: Jamie Christopherson -Fly of Beelzebub: DM DOKURO -Inferior Fabrications: PinPinNeon -Boss 1 Redux: KirbyRocket (Original Boss 1 by Scott Lloyd Shelly) you ever just finish the entire enemy system only to realize as you finish that you accidentally made "type" a global variable? real fun, I'll tell you that.
