[ Bellflowercharm srp ] [ content is split into three time areas; after the deputyship ceremony, before the arena and after Gingerflickers death during the arena. ] [ part 1/? of aegis destroys bellflowers mentality /j ] ⊱────────⋆⋅☆⋅⋆─────────⊰ 1/3 This is it. She tensed her breath as Snapdragonstar stepped onto the highrock of UrchinClan. If he had the right to step onto the rock, this means that he has officially been accepted by the dark forest, there will be no dual deputies uprising, and any time soon… he would choose a new deputy. There is quite a lot of choices, she admit; plenty of strong cats in the clan. Like Lionfishlichen— if he ever recovers from his injury. Like some others that she doesn’t know by name but has a vague impression of them, due to the amount of time they trained. Bellflowercharm tensed her breath, as Snapdragonstar continued on with his lives, new warriors, new apprentices— generations and generations of new cats to come and serve the clan, to fight and bleed for it. She listened on intensely, nodding, cheering for new apprentices and leaning down to give a boop to Bishoppaw when she heard he’s apprenticed to her, and eventually, down to the end of the announcement, where she expected it to end, before she heard— “Bellflowercharm.” She swung her head towards Snapdragonstar. A knowing grin flashed across his face. Her. Deputy. Maybe it is easy to be predicted, considering that Snapdragon has been talking about his plans to her for a little while ago. Maybe he had no choice for other cats, or maybe he thought her as the best choice- and- maybe— —so many maybes, so many potential excuses, but she felt herself freeze and let the congratulations and appreciation wash over her as she was appointed deputy. And then the gathering continued like normal while her head continued to spin. She will not disappoint him. ⊱────────⋆⋅☆⋅⋆─────────⊰ 2/3 StarClan has to be destroyed, she knows it. It is corroding from within the clan, starting from the warriors who believed in them, corrupted by the other clans or by other means, and they train apprentices and pass down their knowledge thus StarClan, and eventually some of them will have kits of their own, or meet kits and tell them that… she growled in anger. How long has this been dwelling in the clan and when would it be gone entirely? It is frustrating to know that the previous leaders did not take action, that the ancestors (not hers; she always remember she was born rogue and abandoned) ignored it entirely. But now it’s coming. Just as he ordered, Bellflowercharm had stopped the traitors he had named along the camp entrance before they can escape, warning them to not escape and sending out in groups, and there she is, sitting underneath the shadow of the highrock, her paws nearly placed on top of one another and her posture relaxed as she listened to Snapdragonstar talk. There is no need to show her face— she is not the leader— and she is content with doing the dirty work, for as long as UrchinClan is returning to its roots. Escaping is futile. Why would they ever think of that? They knew that eventually they’ll get caught back, on loner territory or anywhere soon. Nowhere they can run, she grinned, as Snapdragonstar finished the announcement and she heard the thump of paws as he landed and finished. Oh they certainly won’t escape. Any display of loyalty to StarClan would be a betrayal against the clan, and traitors are to die in front of the whole clan so they will /learn/, they will /understand/ why it is for the best! She’d probably have to send a few more patrols to guard the entrance and the border, maybe she can guard the entrance herself if be honest, and… soon the first trials will commence. ⊱────────⋆⋅☆⋅⋆─────────⊰ 3/3 Blood spread around the fallen traitor, pooling around like a seeping tide, like a tide that will pass over the clan when they learn and know. The victor stands, exhausted, as Snapdragonstar lands onto the ground once more and strikes out a paw of warning. She watches from afar, guarding the entrance in case these two decided to go for the run midway through the trial, and luckily they are not stupid enough to realise. She stands up, leaves her position, and immediately felt the whistling wind of a cat leaving. Probably one of the cats from the other team, she does not care. Honestly staring at the dead warriors face, she felt nothing. She was happy Gingerflicker is dead anyways, that she learnt he had hurt Stingerpaw once more, and when you hurt a deputy’s apprentice, things will not go your way. And she is genuinely, impressed, by the idea of having them to fight against each other. What better method it is to wrangle them back to the right, by forcing the victor to have to kill someone and thus, committing a crime? A clever loophole and a way to convince them.
Oh hey, looks like some cats are gossiping around. She might’ve accidentally paired this cat up against his friend, seeing from the absolute face of shock and grief from the other who’s standing. A coincidence, or maybe the shock of a friends death would work him out more. Eventually she might see him training in the dark forest, who knows anyways? Best if he did! There is no remorse when she turned around and left the area, her back paws absentmindedly kicking up a small bit of sand rudely, her expression stoic as she padded away. Knowing that there are more and more trials to come, she would kick this remorse away, eventually, demolishing it. And she would be strong. ⊱────────⋆⋅☆⋅⋆─────────⊰ sooooooo. she may be kind of evil :) and mean :) but you can trust her right?? look at her pretty little grin she can’t do anything wrong!! bellflowercharm is innocent I swear also sobbing the ginger vs pebble pair up is accidental it was pure rng anyways, but then?? lore?? yeah I love the unexpected lore bricks that I don’t read before /silly /lh Art drawn by me Music is Castle by Halsey
