--- ⭐⭐ KIT ENGINE 3 ⭐⭐ --- Play on Turbowarp for no lag widescreen and 60fps :) https://turbowarp.org/1134849394 ---⭐ How to Play ⭐--- its the regular controls for a sonic game. use the arrow keys to move left and right, press Z to jump, if you jump and then press and hold z in midair you can do a dropdash. and if you press the down arrow and spam the Z key and then relase down and Z you can do a spin dash. you can also peelout press the 1 key to enter debug mode, and press the 2 key to exit ++++Change Log++++ - very small update. - adjusted the physics (credit to @RoboBloopers64 for this) -removed variable jump height cause it was buggy +++++++++++++++ ---⭐ About ⭐--- ever since working on scratch adventure demo 1 and 2 (which were built on gse if you didnt know) ive wanted to create my own engine. gse just has so many problems... its very easy to fall out of the ground ESPECIALLY when going at fast speeds. this engine fixes that. in my many, many playtests ive never had problems falling through the floor. also, a problem with gse was that if you went too fast up a slope you would just stop. this engine also fixes that. you can go at very fast speeds without any issue! the only problem is the level loader. i tried my best to optimize it but i really dont know how and i didnt have enough time too so the load times are pretty long and the framerate as well is subpar. ive reallly only tested this on my laptop though so i dont know how this would run on different systems. hopefully, a lot better. one more thing, if you want to build you own framework for loading levels and stuff i have a separate "stripped" version of the engine with only necessary features. link here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1060897063/ ---⭐ The Engine ⭐--- this engine allows you to create big levels very easily. that was one of my biggest problems developing scratch adventure. the level loader was horrible and i was very limited on what i could do. the levels had to be very horizontal. but yeah i have comments all in the project to explain how to make your own levels. if you have any problems, leave a comment and ill try to help you out
